I came here for a Sunday lunch. Love the vibes, reminds me of kopi klotok. It was busy yet the food came out fast & hot. The black squid fried rice was delicious, had squid chunks (probably well rehydrated dried squids). The nasi goreng kampung was tasty and not seasoned with soy sauce. The tempe goreng tepung (battered fried tempe) was hot and fresh from the wok, tasted okay, slightly under seasoned and unfortunately oily. The fried bananas with gula aren were nice but also oily. The es teler was good, the syrup was fragrant, the sweet condensed milk was not overpowering, the jack fruit bits were sweet. The lemongrass pandan tea was hot and just slightly sweet (which was nice) but I only smell the pandan and not the lemongrass. The pecak ikan nila was nice, the fish was fresh and hot, but I'd prefer more ginger in the sauce. Shout out to the waitress who patiently explained to us in advance about the ingredients of the dishes, she also asked the level of chili heat and whether any of us had any allergies of shrimp or ebi (dried shrimp) 👍🏼 One unpleasant thing: I know some people like to sing on stage but what's the blasting sound system that can be heard from a mile away for? I'd call that a noise pollution which by the way doesn't compatible with the calm village 'ndeso' vibes. I feel for the neighbors.

We dropped by for lunch and found the place pleasantly chill, though several tables were already snapped up by reservations! We grabbed a spot near the entrance and ordered the Ayam Garang Asam and Cumi Hitam Madura. The staff here are top-notch—super professional, well-groomed, and incredibly helpful. Our food arrived in about 20 minutes, which was perfect. Price-wise, it’s very reasonable! The portions are great for sharing between 2–3 people, especially the Cumi Hitam. The squid was tender, bite-sized, and had just the right hint of spice. I’ll admit the Ayam Garang Asam was a tiny bit disappointing visually since the broth wasn't as creamy as the menu photo, but the flavor was still delicious—not too sour at all! The highlight has to be the atmosphere. It’s so peaceful with all the greenery and those nostalgic kampung vibes. They clearly put a lot of love into their garden. Plus, if you're a cat lover, there’s a friendly resident cat who loves saying hello to guests! We’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu. Highly recommended! ⭐

Me and my group tried around 12 menus, my personal favorites are Cumi Hitam and Teri Kecombrang, Sayur Lodeh and Pisang Gula Aren. Tongseng Kambing and Paru Balado are ok but wish they served it hot. Drinks serve in small medium cup :( Service could be better though.

a semi garden style with joglo house resto. the food was ok, we ordered sayur lodeh, teri kecombrang, fried banana with palm sugar and cappucino. it took almost 40 minutes to be served since we order. the staffs product knowledges need to improve. they divide the seat area into two, small indoor area with about 5 tables, and big outdoor garden style seats., but when the rain comes this outdoor area is going to be wet since there are no shades above them. price is bit pricey. they provides two parking area for cars and motorbikes. cashless payment with qris only, debit was not available. there was a lot to improve for this newly open resto.

Hopefully someday the entrance access and parking area will be upgraded. The feeling of javanesse traditional vibe is so vintage. I like it a lot. Foods that will come to mind whenever you hear Waroeng Kondre go to Teri Kecombrang and Fried Banana with Palm Sugar. All menu is my kind-of comfort food type.
