Tanjung Layar is an iconic landmark of the Sawarna tourist area. The best moment to capture it is during sunset. When the tide is low, you can walk closer to the coral rocks, where crashing waves create dramatic splashes and tall wave effects that are truly beautiful to photograph.

This beach is very clean and the view may not be on other beaches. If the sea water is receding, you can cross to the rocky part. And the entrance ticket is still relatively cheap for the size of a clean beach with beautiful views, just be careful when you want to cross to the twin rocks because the road to get there is very slippery because of moss and lots of small coral fragments. If you are lucky you can see red crabs

Very good scenery but I found this beach was quite dirty. There were some styrofoam pieces/garbages floating/lying around. This beach is not for swimming. The wave is very tall. You can take photos in the stones and, if lucky, with waves breaking by the stones in the background.

Come back again to Sawarna after 2 years off. Still Amazing... Delicious and fresh food.. they also has new menu , lobster from local breeding.. five star menu from penginapan @Pondok Ciantir..
