Interesting comfort food concept. Didn’t expect I will actually be impressed by the mala fish dish and ginger chicken. I wouldn’t called this 5 star fine dining dish; but rather something that majority people can enjoy on a cold weather.. the portion is generous, 1 dish can be shared for 2 people. Overall, beyond my expectation Def worth coming back

We ordered eggplant, braised chicken, tofu, lettuce, and suan cai yu. Overall, most of the dishes tasted okay, but the suan cai yu was really bad. The fish was not fresh at all — very fishy and unpleasant. We told the staff about it, and they took the dish away, but then brought back what seemed to be the same fish soup in the same bowl, saying it was “turned fresh.” The fish came back completely smashed, looked even worse, and still tasted not fresh. This was disappointing, especially how the issue was handled.

Randomly chose this restaurant for our brunch. Eye-catching from the outside. You can feel typical restaurant in China, especially the inside area. Friendly staffs. About the food, it's enjoyable. We ordered the Braised chicken, eggplant, and bok choy. Both were level one (spicy) and it was spicy enough for us. The chicken was perfect with rice, but a bit too salty without it. The chicken was not boneless and they provided plastic gloves there. Overall, it's still recommended guys. Enjoy!

Suan cai yu Gurame. Can taste the mala, good broth. The fish slice quite big. Free refill rice (one time payment only) Need music for the place to lighten atmosphere. The staff need to be improved.

Been wanting to try this out on grabfood but I am glad to try this place dine-in. I love it! I ordered the braised chicken and laotan fish suan caiyu. The braised chicken was rich and flavorful. The meat is tender with the sauce of savory spices and a hint of sweetness. The laotan fish is light yet packed with bold flavors—a bit tangy and very peppery, complemented the delicate fish meat (I ordered the spicy one). Free refill rice 👍🏽 Place is just a simple dining area so people just come to eat and go.
