I had lunch for two here, the staffs are all very welcome and helpful. I ordered their fav fish that cooked in a bamboo + urap + fried tempe. The fish is very delicious with a strong spices Urap is very great though Fried tempe is thick yet flavorful But my highlight was I can taste that they served fresh, tasty, also place is really clean (with open kitchen at the front of the restaurant), decent price, and they served several kind of chili, if you are a chili lovers I bet you would like all their chilis are very fresh. I really like all of the chiliiiii served 100! While if you are not chili lovers thats okay since they served the chili in a separate bowl.
View on GoogleThe restaurant is not huge, only one ruko building. Full with customers. Yet somehow not feel crowded. Waiters very calm and patiently explain the menu since the dishes are not familiar for us. The tuna is good taste and texture, also the barramundi, and papaya flower. Prepare yourself for spices lover. These dishes here surely make you sweaty.
View on GoogleI love fish, and I made my way all the way to Paon Ikan after seeing great recommendations on Google and Instagram. The food was delicious—rich in flavor, with excellent sambals. It was a bit spicy, but that’s not an issue since you can choose your preferred spice level. Even the fried tempeh was surprisingly tasty. There was only one minor issue. One of the waitresses (the one with long hair and a tattoo, working at the coffee machine) could be more welcoming. She didn’t smile, seemed a bit unfriendly, and looked quite tired. Overall, despite the location being somewhat far, it’s definitely worth the visit. The prices are also quite affordable for the quality offered. I ordered fish cooked in bamboo (I forgot the name), stir-fried papaya flowers, chicken rica satay, two portions of rice, iced mango, iced nutmeg, and two teas—all for 380,000 IDR. Considering the quality, that’s very reasonable. Thumbs up to the chef. Even working alone, he clearly ensures that every dish meets a high standard.
View on GoogleSeriously one of the best fish dishes I’ve had. Fresh ingredients, rich eastern Indonesian flavors, and everything tastes homemade in the best way possible. Love how they bring Bali, Manado & Maluku flavors together. Service also super warm. 5/5 ⭐️
View on GoogleIf you’re looking for bold and addictive flavors, this place is a must-try! They serve amazing dishes inspired by Maluku, Manado, and Balinese cuisine, and every bite is full of flavor. The fried cassava is seriously the best — crispy, soft inside, and super tasty! All the fish dishes are fresh and cooked perfectly, whether grilled, fried, or served with spicy broth. And don’t forget the sambal — it’s the perfect match for everything on the table. Totally worth coming back for! Highly recommended for anyone who loves strong, authentic Indonesian flavors.
