Tried the batak karostyle pork here and it was really good. The fried pork was super crispy, and the grilled pork had a nice smoky, savory flavor. Simple sides but everything worked well together. Definitely a solid place if you’re craving authentic Karo pork dishes

My partner had a very pleasant experience dining at Lapo Ola Kisat and recommended that we try it together. We got lost and went to their first branch at Gading Serpong, but continued to this particular outlet (they have 2 outlets). The waitress was very friendly, when we arrived she was wiping down the tables and making sure all the cutleries and tables were clean and organised - a really good indicator for us to dine in. We were wanting to eat the Babi Goreng; unfortunately, it was out of stock because it gets sold out by lunch time (the waitress informed us to have it by 11am before it gets sold out). We ordered the Iga Bakar and Babi Panggang for our late lunch today. The Babi Panggang was very flavourful, it was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. The only issue was that i did not order the large portion because you just cannot get enough of this dish! The Iga Bakar reminded me of Naughty Nuri's ribs - it was juicy, it was tender and well seasoned. Both dishes came with the Green Sambal (terribly sorry i forgot what it was called), the sambal darah, dried singkong leaves and a bowl of soup (it was very rich, really complimented both the Iga Bakar and Babi Panggang). I genuinely recommend for those of you reading this review to try this place out. It was such a pleasant meal, and i rarely rate places 5 Stars - i give this place a solid 9/10.

The first time I tried Ola Kisat was from the Culinary Festival at SMS. And that's memorable. Luckily they have their resto near Penabur and Aniva. So this time I tried Aniva branch. It's more satisfying than at a festival. The portion is better and the price is cheaper. You should try the grilled ribs with andaliman chilli is really good.

Kedai babi panggang Karo yang bagus. Kualitas dagingnya bagus. Menggunakan bagian perut babi dan dagingnya bersih. Rasanya enak. Satu-satunya kekecewaan saya adalah iga babinya terlalu keras. Tidak direkomendasikan. Pilih babi panggang biasa saja.

New Ola Kisat branch in Madison. Priced differently than the Summarecon branch, the taste of the roasted pork here is a HUGE improvement. Your tongue will get served well by the wonderful flavors of the pork, while your teeth will also thank you because of the meat choice, which I believe is also improved (I know I might just get some lucky batches, but this is my third time here and the taste has been consistent). For a slight price increase, you’ll also get a satisfaction increase. The only complaints about the food are: 1) the amount of pork blood sauce, and 2) the portion of the rice for the Jumbo combo, which is the same as the Regular one. Service is good, although the “10% + 10% discount” in front of the store is misleading (no additional 10% discount available)
