I've been looking for a new gourmet burger place for a while, so I found Nerd Buns & decided to try. We had: 1. The OG burger - 7/10 2. Big Bite Shrooms - 7.5/10 3. Loaded fries (promo) - 6/10 4. Onion Rings - 9.5/10 !! By far the rings were the best thing we had! Personally not a fan of loaded fries but I just wanted to try & they had a promo. Regular fries are great, probably a 8/10 on a good day. Both burgers were good, but had that sweet bbq taste from the sauce. (Personally I prefer savoury tasting sauce with my burger, hence the bias). Overall great place, very good value for money! Would recommend to try at least once
View on GoogleGood burgers, though nothing too special in my opinion. Flavors are just right and the buns were actually very delicious. I wish they put more attention to the fries, they're decent, but they're not gonna catch your eye. Overall still a good place to visit when craving a cheeseburger.
View on GoogleWent here on a whim, and the burgers exceed our expectations. Buns are soft and not oily, patty are juicy and thick, perfectly seasoned with nicely generous amount of sauce. Worth the price and deserves more crowd. But the seats are quite limited. Comparing the three: Big boy (umami & sweet), The OG (salty), Seasonal pulled beef brisket (tangy, a bit sour and fresh). All are really nice but loving the pulled beef one the most, tangyness makes your mouth water. Fries are good, loving the thin crisps also. Definitely will comeback for more.
View on GoogleCame in with high expectations, and while there were a few positives, it didn’t quite hit the mark. The OG Burger. The beef patty itself was good, juicy, flavorful, and well-seasoned. Unfortunately, it was overshadowed by the brioche buns, which were too dense and overly toasted, to the point of turning slightly bitter. It threw off the balance of what could’ve been a solid burger. The Crispy Shrimps Burger was a miss — I couldn’t even finish it. The shrimp patty tasted off, and it really needed a tangy-sweet sauce to balance things out and lift the flavors. As for the Chick-Fill-Nerd, it was just okay. Decent, but not something you’d go out of your way for or think about eating later. The sides (like the onion rings) were enjoyable and nicely crispy, but a bit too dark, slightly over-fried. Overall, the meal felt inconsistent. Some potential, but not quite there yet.
View on GoogleOG Burger makes me & my tummy happy ☺ the bun is good, the patty is good, the veggies are fresh, the caramelized onion is sweet, all mixed in one big bite 🤤 just add a package for drink & fries, also loaded fries to wrap it up. Nerdy packed buns, Nerdbuns ☺
