Honestly, the food tastes quite good, although not super duper amazing. I like the noodle texture which is springy. The place is clean. The staff is also friendly. The price is affordable, buuuut.. The service is very slow. I arrived at ~9.15 when the restaurant was empty, and ordered Chicken Bakmie. According to the staff, it would take 5 minutes because they needed to change the boiling water first. I said okay, no problem, I'll wait, and then I asked if the siomay was ready? The staff said the siomay was ready, so I ordered it too thinking I could eat it while waiting for the bakmie to be ready. I waited for ~25 minutes, the bakmie was finally served (which the staff initially said would take 5 minutes), and by the time the bakmie was served, the siomay still hadn't arrived either (which the staff said was ready). I told the staff, in that case, I'll just cancel the siomay, because the bakmie is ready while the siomay isn't. The staff said the siomay was already made. I saw another customer who had just arrived wanting to order porridge, but the staff said the porridge wasn't ready yet. The staff said this place opens at 7 in the morning. Then why wasn't the bakmie water ready and the porridge not ready yet? The only thing that kept me patient enough to wait was that the staff was friendly and I felt bad for him being confused handling orders and going back and forth to the kitchen. I don't know what's going on behind the kitchen, but the said staff looked overwhelmed communicating with the kitchen crew. As a customer, I can only conclude that the kitchen wasn't ready to cook. A suggestion, if the menu items aren't all ready by 9.30, it's better to push back the opening hours to 10. Conversely, if you really want to open at 7, you should brief the staff to arrive early so that by opening time, all menus can be ordered and served (at least the main menus, which are porridge and bakmie). Rather than customers coming and then being disappointed by waiting too long. I feel the bakmie and porridge menus should be served quickly, not something that requires waiting for almost 30 minutes, especially when there were only me and 2 other customers at that time.

Tried it for the first time out of curiosity, but got disappointed. Eating porridge for the first time, ordered 2 portions and had to wait 45 minutes, and honestly, the taste wasn't as expected. Then, the ones who ordered later actually got served first. Also, the ordered plain iced tea was super clear, not worth the price.

Ordering just 1 portion of porridge took forever even though nobody else was eating. I had high hopes this porridge would be good, but it lacks flavor entirely, no fragrant aroma at all, just winning in terms of a large portion. The presentation was terrible. The chicken and cakwe were buried underneath the crackers 🫣, plus the peanuts were tough, to the point I had to complain to the guy. The place also smelled super fishy as soon as you stepped inside. This definitely needs a lot of improvement.
