We had dinner here today as a family of three. The restaurant makes a great first impression, with a beautiful Japanese ambiance starting from the terrace before you even step inside. The staff were attentive and proactive, especially in refilling our tea throughout the meal. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite justify the premium pricing. The Beef Yaki Udon was overly sweet, and the udon noodles were too soft. The Salmon Mentaiko Roll tasted quite ordinary, and the roll itself wasn’t firm enough. The Chicken Katsu Oyakodon was disappointing as both the chicken and egg were overcooked, with the overall flavor leaning too salty. The highlight of the evening was definitely the Aomori Salmon Tataki Salad. It was fresh, flavorful, and easily our top recommendation. The Salmon Head was also delicious and well prepared. One area that also needs improvement is the serving time. There was a noticeable gap between the first dish and the following dishes, which interrupted the dining experience. Overall, the atmosphere and service were better than the food. For the price point, we expected more consistency and better execution. Worth visiting for the ambiance and the salmon tataki salad, but the rest of the menu left us underwhelmed.

If you’re looking for a cozy place to satisfy your Japanese food cravings, Kawa Sushi in Gading Serpong is a fantastic choice. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for a casual lunch or a relaxing dinner. What truly stands out, beyond the comfortable seating, is the attentive service; the staff are friendly and ensure you have everything you need for a pleasant meal. I recently tried a few of their menu highlights. The Chicken Teriyaki Sushi was a pleasant surprise—the chicken was tender, and the sweet, savory teriyaki glaze added a nice depth of flavor that made each bite quite addictive. If you prefer something more classic, their Salmon Sushi is a must-try. The salmon slice felt fresh and had that melt-in-your-mouth texture that sushi lovers look for, proving that they don’t compromise on the quality of their ingredients. To round out the meal, I opted for the Smoked Duck Dry Ramen. This dish was a refreshing departure from standard noodle soups. The smoky aroma of the duck paired beautifully with the perfectly cooked noodles, creating a rich, savory profile that was both satisfying and unique. Overall, Kawa Sushi hits all the right notes for a novice sushi fan—great vibes, helpful service, and consistently tasty dishes. Whether you are exploring their sushi rolls or trying their dry ramen, you’re in for a treat. I’ll definitely be returning soon to try more of their menu!

First time here, and very satisfied. Every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious, and the ramen is a must-try! The quality and flavor exceeded our expectations, and the prices are very reasonable for food this good. Great sushi, great ramen, and great value. Highly recommended! Definitely we’ll come back ❤️

2nd time try Toku Belly Roll and Fat Unagi Roll. Very Very Good and the Grill Salmon Belly salty was an additional good dish. Recomended for best Sushi Rolls in the area. 5⭐️👌 1st time come here. The Rolls were all great. We try the Fire Crackers and Salmon Mentaiko. While the Tempura is a bit doughy, too thick and not crunchy. Need to work on the better tempura batter. Try the Unagi Bowl were good. Service also good.

Their signature sushi was great, a hint of sweetness under the savoriness of the fish, is a great combination of taste. The sashimi was fresh and affordable. While the ambience was great, I feel like the amount of table was too little, consequently some guests need to climb to the third floor to be seated. During my second visit I noticed the Salmon Fried Roll was a bit different when compared to the one served to me during my first visit. I prefer the latter. ✅️ Pros - Fresh fish, they nailed the signature dish - Good ambience ❌️ Cons - Amount of table for seating is limited (especially on the first floor)
