Candycakes, a bread shop that primarily sells sourdough based breads. Yes, everytime I notice sourdough based product, will definitely give it a try. Located in Aniva. For those who are not familiar with sourdough, first of all, do not worry, the bread does not taste sour. It is a natural yeast used for baking instead of commercial instant yeast. They are indeed better for digestive health. The main plus point of their product is the texture. Soft & chewy at the same time, maybe it's the advantage of using natural yeast. Other than breads, they have bomboloni with fillings like chocolate, strawberry & blueberry. Do try their lidah kucing as well, probably the best one I've ever had in my entire life. Super addictive that I finished 1 jar in minutes. Felt like they use full butter instead of margarine (I should ask them to confirm this) I personally think they are on par with the top tier boulangeries around gading serpong, in other words 'Underrated'. It's just they deserve more recognition. Therefore I suggest you to stop by & enjoy their baking goods.

Another sourdough based bakery. Honestly this would be another case of my don't judge a book by the cover. But rather interesting the name of the shop don't resemble any bread related product, and we've always thought it's selling cakes, thus never stop by eventhough we drove past every single day. But once hooked, we become faithful patrons, loving the breads quality. We tried the nastar tarts yesterday too, fragrant and just freakin' good, hard to stay away from. At the moment they have a promo of buying 5 get 1 free (T&C), and 20% disc. after 6 pm.

from the moment u step into the bakery wanginya very warm and sweet. the bread is light and not to sweet. my personal fav smoked beef mushroom
