Great dinner choice! We ordered the Signature Sop Buntut, Buntut Bakar with Peanut Sauce, and Kecombrang Rice—everything was absolutely brilliant. We didn’t even manage to take photos; it was just too good. Authentic Indonesian flavors, rich & deeply satisfying. Es Teler and Martabak were the perfect desserts to share!
View on GooglePremium rib soup, the soup taste flavorful and has depth in it. Add their special spices to give extra umami taste. The ribs are juicy and tender. Order the grilled meat, it comes with a soup so you can try both grill and soup. Their kecombrang rice is nice it has umami flavor. Expect to spend 150.000 for the dish. Nice service friendly staff.
View on GoogleA Bold Take on Oxtail—Buntut Gajah Impresses with Hearty Flavors and Local Soul As a culinary professional, I’m always searching for places that combine authenticity with bold execution. Buntut Gajah in Gading Serpong delivers precisely that—with unapologetically rich flavors and a well-executed tribute to Indonesian comfort food. The signature Buntut Bakar (Grilled Oxtail) is a standout—beautifully caramelized with a smoky char that enhances the natural richness of the meat. It’s fall-off-the-bone tender, served with sambal and warm rice that balance the dish perfectly. The Buntut Kuah (Oxtail Soup) is equally satisfying, boasting a broth that’s deep, hearty, and clearly crafted with care and long hours of simmering. The presentation is straightforward, rustic, and honest—letting the ingredients shine. Service is warm and responsive, with staff who know the menu and make smart recommendations. The space is casual yet comfortable, suitable for both family meals and business lunches. Pricing is fair for the portion and quality—definitely a place that delivers value. Mushola ✅ Playground ✅
View on GoogleFirst time to eat because of the review. Too bad, we had a bad experince. We ordered Sop iga bakar, gado2, sambal bakar iga, es lemon tea and Ovomaltine latte. The ribs was not fresh, smell stinky. At the first time, they change my daughter’s ribs grilled with the new one. I thought maybe my spicy ribs was better but it was same, smell stinky too. They serve rice although we ordered nasi uduk.
View on Googleit's easy to say YES! first experience of dinner at this restaurant, warmly welcomed by the restaurant staff who are quite helpful. I opened the menu book and decided to order Sop Buntut, Sop Iga, Bakmi Tek Tek and Tempe Mendoan. The atmosphere of the restaurant is quite cozy, homey and warm. On the 2nd floor, there seems to be a separate smoking room, VIP and playground. Finally the food came! Jreng Jreng... The Sop Buntut and Sop Iga is a winner! The flavor is just nice, the meat and tendons are soft, easy to bite into and instantly become comfort food. Tempe mendoan is also good, for Mie Tek Tek not the champion but quite ok. Tonight there have live music from a senior musician who played acoustic guitar with nostalgic songs, making our dinner more comfortable! ❤️
