A place to buy salt bread that's currently viral. The bread here is delicious. Dry and juicy. If you come here, you'll definitely have to queue from morning. Because it opens at 10 am until it runs out. Usually people come before opening hours. Every time you come here, you have to queue, and by 12 noon it's already sold out. The queue here is quite long, and it's hot because you have to wait in front of the shop. Because the inside is not that big, not many people can fit. So you have to take turns going in. Umbrellas are provided while queuing, but it's better to bring your own because the umbrella will be used by someone else. The choice of bread includes savory and sweet ones. The price is around 24 thousand rupiah on average. I tried all the flavors. and it's really delicious. Really worth the taste. Will definitely come back again.
View on Googlehands down one of the best saltbread imho🙌🏻 a very good adaptation of the og saltbread, aka the shio pan i had in ginza — with crispier bottom and salt coating in every bite, like the ones in seoul (just like their name!). also tried their weekday special, the crab rangoon, which is also good. and i especially like it since they seem to use a different bread/recipe for the base of their specialty menus so the overall balance with the toppings is very nice. but truly, nothing beats their classic salt bread! visited the shop on monday afternoon so the queue is manageable. the service is actually very fast — and since they keep baking the bread non-stop without any shifts, the turnover is excellent. must try, worth travelling & queueing for!
View on GoogleHidden within a housing/co-living area, they are quite tricky to find from the street. You need to go into this gated community, tell the security where you want to go, and they will let you in. They open at 10.00 am, but when I arrived there, there was already a queue. They basically offer around 8 different options of salt bread with some specials on weekends. I must say, their salt bread is one of the best that I’ve tried so far. I particularly liked their Milkeu Way flavor, that struck a nice balance between the saltiness of the bread and sweetness of the cream filling. The basic salt bread is also very delightful. Eat them while they’re warm, so the butter is still melted and make the whole experience divine. Highly recommended.
View on GoogleOne of the best salt bread that I tried in Jakarta. I visited this place as recommended by my friend. A small outlet that not for dine-in, but only for take away. Open late at 10.00 am (I wish it opens earlier so I can grab it for breakfast on weekdays). Better come earlier, as sometimes at 14.00 all salt breads are sold out.
View on GoogleOne of the hidden spots for salt bread in The Mozia area. The entrance is a bit hard to find, as it's hidden behind a metal fence. You can also enter through the row of shophouses in front, although it's a bit of a detour. I arrived around 2 PM, and several items were already sold out. There's no dine-in area, so everything is available for takeaway only. 1. Salt Bread I tried several flavors: Classic, Korean Garlic, Quattro Formaggi, and Strawberry Cream Cheese. Overall, I really liked their salt bread. The outside was crispy, while the inside was soft with a rich buttery aroma. However, a few bites were a little too salty. My favorite was the Strawberry Cream Cheese, as it had a more flavorful combination of sweet, salty, tangy, and creamy flavors.
