i ordered the spicy chicken sundubu and the seoul rose rabokki. the rose rabokki was different from what i usually have, the sauce was more watery instead of the thicker, creamier style. to me, it tasted more like rose ramen with tteokbokki. it was still enjoyable, though, and the flavor was quite good. i personally liked the spicy chicken sundubu more. the broth suited my taste and was flavorful, especially when eaten with rice. however, i felt that the tofu and toppings could have absorbed more of the broth. even so, the taste was really good and definitely matched my preferences. overall, i had a nice meal and will surely come back again, the sundubu with rice was really satisfying👌🏻
View on GoogleWe walked in with zero expectations, and left wondering why we hadn’t come sooner. The Bakpo Galbi was the star of the meal. Smoky, juicy, and packed with flavour, it barely needed the dipping sauces. We completely forgot to take a photo of the accompanying banchan, but they were absolutely fantastic. Every refill-worthy side dish complemented the grilled pork perfectly. The Bulgogi Doenjang Jjigae was another surprise. Rich, deeply savoury, and comforting, with tender slices of beef and plenty of tofu. It’s the kind of stew you’d happily order again on its own. We also tried the Rose Rabokki. The sauce arrived much thinner than we expected, almost like a soup, which caught us off guard at first. Thankfully, the flavour delivered. Creamy, mildly spicy, and surprisingly addictive, it turned out to be another winner. What impressed us most was that there wasn’t a single miss. Every dish was well-executed, the service was warm and attentive, and the portions were generous, especially considering the very reasonable prices. We’ll definitely be back. This is one of those places that’s easy to recommend and even easier to revisit.
View on GoogleI came here because I was craving Sundubu Jjigae, and I'm so glad it completely satisfied my craving. The soup was absolutely delicious—hot, spicy, and incredibly comforting. The glass noodles were insanely good, and the stew was filled with generous portions of chicken. The tofu was soft, silky, and had a lovely fresh soybean aroma. It also came with a bowl of warm rice, making the whole meal feel so comforting and homey. I also ordered the Bak Po Galbi, and it was just as impressive. The meat was tender, juicy, and perfectly marinated. The portions were generous, all kind of the kimchi and side salads they served were amazing. The prices are very reasonable, the restaurant is beautifully decorated, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. My only wish is that the Sundubu Jjigae came with more meat options, such as beef or pork. Other than that, I had a truly satisfying meal and will definitely be back again!
View on Googlegood food, good service, nice clean quiet place. the free drink was really good and fragrant too, corn tea or something like that. we had chicken sundubu jjigae and.. i forgot the other one.. bulgogi daenjong? both were delicious, good amount of portions too. we left this place feeling stuffed and satisfied. will definitely return sometime in the future.
View on GoogleGreat korean food place with affordable price. The place has a second floor where the ambience is amazing. I came for dinner and arrived just before dinner time to avoid queuing. Ordered the bakpo galbi and sundubu ayam jamur wijen. Both are amazing, but the highlight was the sundubu, which was very soothing. They also give you free corn tea
