This is probably one of the best ice creams I've had. Minus 18 Creamery has a few varieties of ice cream flavors. I personally choose Hokkaido Milk and it doesn't dissapoint me. It's really sweet and creamy but not to the extend that makes you sick of it. I totally get why the place was really crowded, so crowded in fact there were no seats available when we're there. Note that it's quite pricey but worth a shot.

A charming spot, though admittedly quite compact, with limited seating given the number of guests who come to enjoy their ice cream at a more leisurely pace. It can feel rather crowded, especially during busier hours, which makes it less ideal for lingering. The variety of flavours is genuinely enjoyable, and each one stands well on its own. However, the addition of toppings tends to overwhelm the base flavour, with the sweetness competing rather than complementing it. For instance, the Hokkaido milk paired with cookies becomes noticeably dominated by the latter, causing the original flavour to recede. Pricing remains accessible, which is certainly appreciated. With a more thoughtful balance between flavours and toppings, along with improved seating comfort, the overall experience could feel far more refined.

upon walking in you’ll be greeted with 8 ice cream flavors, with these variations changing every 1-2 months. himalayan salt (5/10): frankly it tastes more milk than it is salt. mild salt taste at the end and really sweet too.. kyoto matcha (8/10): costs an additional 2k, however it did taste premium! bold matcha flavor, with its natural bitterness balanced the milk and sweetness quite well. likely the least sweet compared to the other flavors. hokkaido milk (6/10): on the smoother and subtler end of the milk flavor royal earl grey (7/10): really fragrant! prolly the best tasting amongst the bunch, but the sweetness could really be toned down verdict: for its given price point, the flavors are simply underwhelming and on the much sweeter side. would not recommend it if you’re sensitive to sweetness.

finally got to try minus 18 creamery and picked up 2 cups, one chocolate, and the other strawberry + royal earl grey 🤍 everything was super creamy and not overly sweet. the chocolate was rich, while the strawberry + royal earl grey combo felt light and fragrant. simple but really satisfying, such a good little treat ✨
