Tried this Kopitiam spot inside The Barn BSD. We ordered a big family meal, but the food was a bit hit-or-miss. What to order: The Nasi Oseng Kampung and Bakmi Oseng KDRT are the best items we had. Really tasty! The Bubur Ayam Pancoran is also a decent, safe choice. What to skip: The Mie Kangkung, Laksa Benteng, and Mie Holai. They were all pretty bland, although I'll give them credit for the generous chicken portion in the Mie Kangkung. My best advice: stick to the safe dishes like the oseng rice or noodles

we’ve passed by other kdrt branches so many times before, and finally decided to try kdrt for the first time at the barn branch. we were really drawn in by the menu displayed in front of the store, so we ended up adding it to our list of places to try. but unfortunately, we had to accept that the food we ordered and received didn’t match what was shown on the menu. some of the dishes also tasted pretty average. maybe more attention could be given to both the presentation and the flavor. honestly, the prices are still okay in our opinion, but since what we got was far from our expectations, it was quite disappointing the kaya toast wasn’t fragrant at all, and the appearance was very far from what was shown on the menu. it didn’t look or feel like the kaya toast we’re used to seeing and eating. i did like the kwetiau tho, because kwetiau is pretty tricky to get right in terms of flavor sticking to the noodles, and this one was nicely coated. the tahu baso mostly just tasted like garlic in the filling. and as for the fried rice … 😔

Good food, affordable price, comfortable space. We went during non peak hours so it wasn’t too full.

No pork no lard. New branch, 3rd. Wherever they open, we visit 😁. Order and payment first. Kopitiam with wide variety of foods.
