Tried this place after seeing it on my TL for awhile, staffs and place is quite nice but the cake is a bit meh for the extravagant price IMO. Maybe it’s for people who wants to be nostalgic with eating “Cake jadul”, but too much cream and the sour-cherry-sauce wasn’t quite noticeable, dikit bangettt. I expected more for this price, 128k ish, though you get free coffee with the cake purchase, i’m super OK with higher end price range if it’s worth the money, you can get the same (Cheaper even) kind of cake in un*on and the cherry sauce stands so muchhhh better. Cream on top taste cheap 😦 but cream surrounding the cake was Ok.. TLDR the cake is pretty one dimensional, for selling nostalgia, it’s quite not worth it. Kudos to the staffs tho super helpful and very informative! they remember names of the customer!:O

Today I decided to order a cake from Edbaker, because I was craving their Black Forest cake with rum. The cake was incredibly delicious—rich, moist, and perfectly balanced!! I absolutely loved the rum flavor. It's definitely one of my favorite Black Forest cakes ❤️❤️ The only minor issue was during the pickup process. My driver mentioned that the pickup point shown in the app was quite far from the actual store location, which caused a bit of confusion. I hope this can be updated to make pickups more convenient for customers. Other than that, everything was great. Highly recommended, and I'll definitely order again!

I recently visited this “newly” bakehouse, and I must say it’s a delightful addition to the neighborhood. Run by a pastry chef with 20 years of experience, the craftsmanship and passion truly shine through in every bite. Their signature mocha cake is rich, perfectly balanced, an absolute must-try, and you can tell they use premium ingredients, as the flavors are incredibly tasty. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality and attention to detail more than justify the cost.
