Beautiful Peranakan-inspired restaurant with a warm and elegant atmosphere. We tried the Nasi Goreng, Hokkien Mee, and Char Kway Teow — all were delicious, flavorful, and generously portioned. The wok hei on the noodles was excellent, and the crispy chicken with nasi goreng was a standout. Friendly service, refreshing drinks, and a great overall dining experience. Highly recommended!
View on GoogleOverall, I had a very pleasant experience at Baia Nonna The Barn BSD. The photos were taken after we had already started eating (it was honestly too tempting to wait 😄), but even then, the food still looked appealing and well-presented. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, showing good quality and consistency in every dish we tried. Service was also excellent staff were friendly, attentive, and responsive without being intrusive. The atmosphere is cozy and aesthetically pleasing, making it a great spot for both casual hangouts and small gatherings. It can get a bit lively during peak hours, but still within a comfortable level. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for good food, great service, and a nice ambiance in the BSD area.
View on GoogleThe restaurant has a chill and comfortable atmosphere, making it a great place to dine with family, including kids. The service was outstanding ,all the waiters are friendly. I ordered chicken mushroom mee. The noodles were light and not overly oily, while the braised chicken and mushrooms were savory and tender. The soup was clear with a nice, comforting chicken broth taste. The meatballs were especially delicious with good texture, and the crispy wonton added a nice crunch to the noodles.
View on GoogleThe place is quite alright. The food though, its a bit disappointing. The image in the menu has twice amount of food than actual served food 🤣 and the taste is so average. In my laksa, there is a clam which taste a bit sour as well. The dessert is quite disappointing as well, most of the toast is using whipped cream which doesnt taste anything.
View on GoogleHad a great lunch at Baia Nonna. The Nasi Goreng Berempat was packed with flavor and had a nice balance of sweet, savory, and smoky notes. The fried egg was perfectly cooked, and the crispy topping added an excellent texture to every bite. The Ayam Goreng Pasta Udang was the standout for me. Super crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and the shrimp floss gave it a unique umami flavor that made it hard to stop eating. The presentation was beautiful, portions were generous, and the overall dining experience was very enjoyable. Definitely a dish I would order again when visiting Baia Nonna. Highly recommended! 👍🍽️
