⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Incredible Experience – Exceptional Food & Hospitality! I had a fantastic dining experience at Seoul 1996 BBQ in Eastvara, and I honestly can’t recommend this place enough! The BBQ itself was outstanding—high-quality meat, perfectly seasoned, and grilled to perfection. The side dishes were fresh and flavorful, but what truly blew me away was the hospitality. I fell in love with their kimchi and wanted to order an extra portion after our meal. When the manager noticed how much I enjoyed it, they incredibly gave me a generous amount of kimchi completely for free! It’s rare to find a place that combines such amazing food with genuinely warm, generous customer service. The ambiance at Eastvara is great, the staff are attentive, and the management goes above and beyond for their guests. I’ll definitely be back for more. A must-visit for any Korean BBQ lover!
View on GoogleThe meat is a bit pricey, but the quality and texture are definitely on another level—totally worth the price. The banchan (side dishes) are so plentiful that you'll feel full just from eating them! 🫢 Because it gets quite crowded, the refill service can be a bit slow
View on GoogleHad a really enjoyable dinner at Seoul 1996 BBQ! The banchan were fresh and generous, clearly prepared with care. The beef soup was slightly spicy but very flavorful—perfect as a warm starter. The original samgyupsal tasted clean and juicy, and the marinated samgyupsal was especially tasty with a nice balance of sweetness and depth. Service was friendly and the tabletop grill was well‑maintained. A solid spot for Korean BBQ if you’re in the area!
View on GoogleMy top of the list for Korean BBQ Restaurant in BSD/Gading Serpong area. Various delicous banchan, competitive price and great service. Usually opted for the pork meats for the bbq as we prefer porks. But did also do beef in some ocassion. Both option was great and worth the price. Their Gajang Genjang was also fresh and delightable. The Nunna owner was always seen to cater the guests needs everytime I visited there. A recommended place to have your Korean BBQ whenever you are in the area. Be warned that they are usually packed in the weekends.
View on Google4.5/5. One of the better Korean BBQ spots we’ve tried, and we’d happily come back. The first thing that stood out wasn’t even the meat, it was the banchan. A lot of Korean BBQ places give you plenty of banchan, but it’s rare to find one where almost every dish is a hit. Here, almost everything we tried was genuinely enjoyable, from the kimchi to the seasoned vegetables, soy-braised quail eggs, fish cakes, and cucumber banchan. Better yet, the portions were generous, making the spread feel abundant rather than token. The Tong Samgyeopsal (water-aged pork belly) was good. The meat was tender and grilled nicely, with enough fat to keep it satisfying. I would’ve loved a little more juiciness from the aging process, but it was still a very enjoyable plate, especially wrapped in fresh lettuce with garlic, chili, and ssamjang. In fact, the best pairing for the pork was the cucumber banchan. The refreshing crunch and slight tanginess cut through the richness of the meat beautifully, making each bite feel balanced and addictive. We found ourselves reaching for it over and over again. The surprise star of the meal was the beef japchae. Packed with beef, vegetables, and perfectly chewy glass noodles, it had that sweet-savory balance that makes it difficult to stop eating. Many places treat japchae as an afterthought; this one could easily stand on its own as a main dish. Service was attentive, refills were prompt, and the overall dining experience felt welcoming and comfortable. Banchan galore, generous portions, delicious japchae, and solid samgyeopsal. It’s rare to find a Korean BBQ place where the banchan, side dishes, and mains all pull their weight. Will definitely be back again.
