Mala Kitchen is definitely one of my favorite spots whenever I’m craving mala and shaokao. They do proper Chinese-style BBQ skewers, and the taste is very authentic. Some dishes can be a bit oily, but that’s pretty common with this style of food. One suggestion would be to add a self-service sauce station, especially for the second floor, so customers don’t have to wait for staff during busy hours. It would also be amazing if they offered sesame peanut sauce like they do in China. Overall, always happy to come back! 😊
View on GoogleI’ve been here quite a few times, and the mala is always good. The flavor is nice, but for me it’s not really spicy or numbing enough, I wish it had a bit more kick. What really needs improvement is the service. From the servers to the cashiers, the overall experience feels a bit lacking. The female cashiers in particular could be a little friendlier and more welcoming. A warm smile can make a big difference. ☺️ Hope this can be improved because the food is still worth coming back for. Peace! ✌️
View on GoogleMala kitchen used to have mala with sliced of fish for 100k. However they changed the menu to whole bigger fish but the portion of others such as fishcake and tofu and enoki becomes less. We prefer the old menu for 100k with sliced of fish and other veggies fish cakes and enoki. Its more balanced with lots of variety. For the fried mala we can choose minimum 5 dishes, the level 1 mala is already hot enough for us. Expect to spend 150.000 to spend here.
View on GoogleProper place to have mala dishes, you can choose condiments and how to cook. They have Collagen and Mala with diff spiciness level and dishes taste good overall we enjoyed the ambience and experience.
View on Google5 stars for consistency and quality of ingredients. We had their malatang and its quite comforting. Shaokao and stir fry mala is great but personally would prefer a stronger/ numbing mala taste. However price point is on the higher side. Would still come back tho
