Went to Osteria Gia in Orange Groove, PIK last Sunday, 21June26. It was my first to visit their place in PIK and I must say the décor was quite something. It was quite airy and felt like dining in a glass house in a park somewhere. The meal was tasty!. Love the pasta and the lasagna and the steak..it was flavourful and enjoyable. One big note from me though, we ordered some appetizers, mains and a dessert...however, they put everything all at once. So my seafood pasta was first, then we the salad, then we have the tuna pasta, then the steak then some fried calamari and some other stuff and so on. The downside of this of course, our mains got cold before we even able to touch them as we were dealing with the pasta then we were getting too full to eat the salad and some other appetizers which supposed to come earlier. One of the crew came to check on us, we told them the food were fantastic but the table service was not as it was all at once. They mentioned that its because they are not a fine dining restaurant and what ever ready they will send out..hmm..... Well if only they could pay more attention to the meal service I'm sure it will also be better in their kitchen arrangement as well as their guest who is trying to enjoy every bite of their meals without having to rush on each plate because the next course already came before they finish the first one... All in all it was nice food and nice spot. Let's give them another chance next time.

Amazing atmosphere, the lighting was pleasant and the facilities were clean. We were served a complimentary bread before our main course arrived and it was delicious and soft. While the prices were a bit more on the pricier side, the food quality was amazing. I highly recommend the wagyu steak, it was so tender and the fat just melted in my mouth. Our server Wulan was particularly accommodating, she ensured that we were comfortable at all times while also serving the other consumers, which was great.

The standalone building and elegant Tuscan-inspired interior make you feel like you’ve stepped into a charming restaurant in Italy, making it an excellent choice for date nights, family dinners, or special celebrations. The restaurant is also known for its chapel-inspired architecture and spacious yet cozy setting. The food quality is consistently excellent, with fresh ingredients, well-balanced flavors, and beautiful presentation. Every dish feels thoughtfully prepared, from the handmade pasta to the desserts. The service is attentive, friendly, and professional without being intrusive, creating a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience. Despite being quite busy, the restaurant remains comfortable thanks to its spacious layout. Parking is convenient, and the ambiance becomes even more beautiful in the evening with the warm lighting. Overall, Osteria GIA Orange Groves is absolutely worth visiting if you’re looking for premium Italian cuisine in Jakarta. Great food, excellent service, and an unforgettable atmosphere. I will definitely come back to try more of the menu. Highly recommended!

Honestly, the food is pretty decent taste wise. The recommended chicken was well done. The beef cheeks were tender. The atmosphere is amazing at first impression. However, service was hurried (our dishes were all served within 5 mins from ordering before the wine bottle was even opened), by the time we had the first sip of wine the food was alr getting cold. In fact, all off the dishes came out slightly warm, none were piping hot which leads me to assume it's pre cooked. Overall, Staff received the feedback very well and comped a dessert. Ultimately at 2.4mil idr for 2 pax, I think it could have been a little better. It's closer to a casual Italian restaurant than a fine dining experience. Service needs some polish and the pasta can be a bit more al dente.

Excellent service, great atmosphere and food is amazing. Loved the beef cheeks, they were very tender and sauce was great. Only complaint is that the crab ravioli had abit too much of an earthy flavor and the skin was abit hard. Overall a great experience.
