We have been a fan of their Bakmi Goreng for the longest time and would patronize them just for it, whenever we are in Jakarta. And for our latest trip, we were brought to dine at one of their newest Flagship restaurant in PIK2 and we were surprised when we reached. The place was surprisingly huge and designed to resemble a Chinese palace, featuring tiered pagodas, winding stone pathways and traditional tiled roofs. A massive Koi pond in the middle of the “palace” and a lush landscape of bonsai styled trees pink with pops of color from pink artificial cherry blossoms, greeted us after the main reception area, on our way to the dining area. We eventually settled down in a private dining area overlooking the pond for our lunch and ordered dishes for the 9 of us, which included their signature Salad Kominasi (Seafood Combination Salad plus Prawn with Mayonaise Spring Roll), Kuluyuk Babi (Sweet & Sour Pork), Bakut Goreng Kering (Deep Fried Pork Ribs), Sapi Cah Saus Tiram (Beef In Oyster Sauce), Sapo Tahu Vege (Claypot Braised Tofu), Brokoli Jamur Hitam (Braised Broccoli), Lindung Cah Fumak (Fried Eel With Fumak Lettuce), Bihun Saklon (Vermicelli With Braised Stone Creek Frog), Nasi Goreng Vege (Fried Rice) and of course their Bakmi Goreng (Fried Noodles). Well, most dishes were average overall, although flavours were good enough, but texture were not really up to my personal expectation. Like pork pieces for both their Sweet & Sour Pork and Deep Fried Pork Ribs, both dishes had tough and not tender enough pieces. Didn’t like their Bihun Saklon too, due to an overpowering flavours undescribable. Their Bakmi Goreng still reminds our favourite dish even though its slightly more flavourful at their Pik branch. Thus we will return again for this dish as well as try their other dishes due to its dining experience and atmosphere.
View on GoogleI had such a fantastic experience at Angke Heritage - PIK 2! 🤩 The food was incredibly delicious, every dish was bursting with flavor. 😋 The service was top-notch, really friendly and attentive. And the atmosphere? Absolutely wonderful! ✨ I highly recommend this place. 👍
View on GoogleThe most authentic Hakka cuisines in Jakarta for people who like traditional Chinese food. The new outlet inPIK2 creates the atmosphere of Chinese garden architecture. You can either take photos or video shooting here. If you want to costume up, being the people in Han or Tang Dynasty, you can rent the clothing as well. The foods are super wonderful and tasty. Staffs are really professional with hospitality to serve you all the time. A good place for people to take family or group activities, enjoying the meal here. Just come and enjoy.
View on GoogleHad a great birthday dinner party with lots of good food and enjoyed the karaoke private room which can be used from 5 til 10pm. In tonight's menu, I think the best was the Salted Egg Fried Prawn, Peking Duck, Black Pepper Beef and Seafood Fried Rice.
View on GoogleFood plate is quite big, good for a group of friends or family. The taste is more or less the same in other branches. The service and food serving is good and fast.
