Fortunately the surrounding of Batu Sanghyang waterfall is nice, with beautiful rice terraces, different tree plantations that keep some shadow and cute little villages. Getting down from the main road was a bit tricky. There was a cemented path down but it's not well maintained so I searched for a different route. Just under Bali Eco Stay resort I found a way to tah lower part of the waterfall, partially next to the river, partially through the resort (even theough some bungallows - not my intension). The waterfall is not really worth much. It is quite small and I wouldn't take a bath there because the water has a strange detergent like color, that doesn't seem clean in my eyes. If you have accomodation close, you could go there if you are bored one day, but if you come from more than an hour, it is not worth the time and effort.

The waterfall was tiny it was like walking into a swamp. Took ages to find this spot hardly worth the effort the trip was an adventure the waterfall was disappointing

Sehr schöner Wasserfall!

A really nice waterfall. The water is very clear. On the west side there is a villa. The surrounding natural scenery is very beautiful and lush. The village atmosphere is very enchanting. It is very suitable to be developed as a waterfall tourist attraction in the regency. It's just a pity when I went there we were forbidden to pass through the villa path, they said there were guests, so outsiders are not allowed to enter according to the villa staff. Forced to pass through the east side path via a steep cliff to reach the waterfall.
