I stayed here for one month, and it turned out to be one of the most special experiences of my trip to Bali. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and completely at home. The house itself is very unique, full of creativity and a special energy. I really appreciated the artistic touch everywhere — from the jewelry to the mosaics, paintings, and all the little details around the space. Being part of the place, helping with photography and creative work, made the experience even more meaningful. I also met amazing people during my stay, which made everything even more special. Such a lovely and memorable experience! The mosaic class was fun, creative, and very well guided. Shankari is an incredibly warm, talented, and inspiring woman, and her beautiful mosaic-covered home makes the whole experience even more special. I absolutely love the piece I made and will always remember this class as one of the highlights of my time in Bali. Highly recommended! ❤️

We came on a return trip to experience the magic of this place. It is like turning back time and experiencing the authentic feeling of 'old' Bali ... accomodation is rustic and comfortable. We had an awesome stay and loved every minute with Shankari Jiiah, Akasha and other guests. Loved the rooftop ceremony and our visit to the Crocodile temple where we had a water blessing. Big thanks to Shankari and her staff for making our stay so memorable.

We stayed here for three days, and it was by far one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. And not just the location (which is incredible: it sits beside the balian river and is just a few minutes walk from the beach), the sanctuary itself is art. It is covered in gorgeous mosaics. From the driveway to the ceilings, we spent hours our first day just walking around and looking at everything. We also ate all of our meals here with Shankari and another guest. The food was great, and we were able to try many things that we'd never had before. Everything is organic, and many things are sourced from the land the sanctuary sits on. It was absolutely delicious. Overall a completely unforgettable experience.
