It was truly delightful staying at a charming hotel right in front of Balian Beach. Even though I cannot surf, I really enjoyed watching people surfing. I also found this place to be very peaceful, allowing me to practice yoga and prayer in serenity. It was an extraordinary experience for me. Although I am a Balinese local, I can see how Pondok Pitaya shows its love for nature through its wooden architecture, which feels very eco‑friendly and helps keep Bali lush and green. Good spot for surfing and a nice view of the waves while eating at the restaurant. There is a surf rack beside the restaurant, which is very convenient, so we didn’t have to bring the boards back and forth to our room. Meal prices at the restaurant were quite expensive but came with reasonable portions. We liked the breakfast provided. When we arrived, we had to request a room change because it was very hot. The staff was responsive. Overall, it was a good experience.

My daughter and myself had a peaceful and relaxing holiday. We spent 14 nights in a deluxe villa with views straight onto an awesome wave that never disappointed. The staff were amazing and so friendly. The room was spacious and clean. The resort was well set out and the restaurant had a good mix of local and international cuisine. Away from the chaos of the surrounding world, it was just what we wanted. Terima Kasih everyone.

A Perfect Stay and Wonderful Birthday Surprise!My wife and I had the most wonderful time celebrating her birthday at the Pondok Pitaya Balian Hotel. From the moment we arrived until we reluctantly left, every single day was an absolute pleasure.The staff truly made our stay special. They are incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful—a big thank you to the entire team for their exceptional service. They even helped me organize a perfect little birthday surprise for my wife, which made the trip even more memorable.We stayed in a lovely Suite (1 bedroom) with air conditioning. The room was clean, comfortable, and a fantastic place to relax. The food at the hotel restaurant was equally excellent; we thoroughly enjoyed every meal.We loved our stay and enjoyed every moment we spent here. We are already looking forward to planning our next visit!

Great pool and hang out spot. However service was extremely poor. Both the pool and cafe was busy and there was hardly any waiters and we ordered pancakes and it took 30 minutes to arrive, we have to ask twice
