This place was recommended by my sister and brother in law, located in Cau, Tabanan regency a chocolate farm, fermentation, factory, and a cute coffee/restaurant by the stream. Once you enter the parking area, you will be greeted by the chocolate smelling air. They have free tour of the facility and the farm, they also offer paid activities for the kids to make chocolate molding with some education about chocolate processing. We signed our kids up for the activities (roughly $8/ kid) so they don't get so bored during the tour. They had fun whacking the chocolate fruit and molding their own chocolate. They do not like the taste of the chocolate fruit itself 😂 which I think is pretty good (sweet and tangy almost like mangosteen). After the tour we went to the chocolate tasting place where we get to taste every chocolate flavors they created. We bought many different flavors for souvenirs ( the compound one) the original one taste a bit bitter. I hope many success for this place, our tour guide was very sweet and speaks very well English, she explained everything about the process very well. We enjoyed our visit and highly recommend this for families with kids. Unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy their delicious food at the restaurant as we crunch for time. But we did enjoy the scenery while the kids doing the chocolate molding. The caffe is by the stream across the street from the factory, there's a mini waterfall that makes it very tranquil.

We got a tour to the plantation for 150,000 per person. The tour guide showed us the plantation, explained the process of growing cacao and showed how they ferment and dry cacao beans. We tasted the freshly harvested cacao. The tour guide spoke a decent English and knew a lot of things, that was very interesting. After the tour, we visited the shop and tried different types of chocolates and cacao, and ended up buying a lot of chocolate and powders. I recommend this place, it was a very interesting experience to learn and see every step of the chocolate manufacturing process: from the blooming tree to the chocolate bar.

Stop by here for chocolate testing after visiting kayu putih the ancient tree. Very friendly staffs, generous in showing us all types of chocolate. Assorted flavour including tiramisu, matcha, durian, sea salt, Thai milk tea etc. Different percentage of dark chocolate available from 55% to 100%. Vegan chocolate available here too. Lastly we bought 4 types of chocolate, one of it is pistachio chocolate which no sample available, excited to try it out! Attached receipt for price reference. Free toilet available here. Entrance to the shop and cafe is free of charge, but if would like to join the educational visit, is charged RP150k per person.

What wonderfully attentive and informed staff - special thanks to our guide Resa who was an absolute delight and very knowledgable! The people and the chocolate were all lovely here and we learned so much! We did the education activity and the moulding activity they were 150k each pp. I’d say the education was thoroughly worth it and the moulding was fun - probably better for younger children. The food at the restaurant was delicious, and it felt like a natural version of Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory being surrounded by palms and the babble river. I left suitably full of chocolate.

100% recommendable place to visit. Our guide Adnya guided us through the plantation and widely explained the whole chocolate production process. You can cut and break the cocoa yourself and taste it in each status of the process. Then you can taste all of their final products. All this included for 150k IDR/pax absolutely worth it. Nice family run business using only organic and local methods on a traditional way of production.
