Wow wow wow. First we enter, smiling staff and great service meets us. I order 3 dishes and 2 drinks my Mother orders 2 dishes and 2 drinks. It was 200k for the both of us 🫪. Outstanding price less than $20 AUD, for the quality of food which was really really good. I recommend the potato chips, they are hand cut and with extra salt they are so so good after a nice long walk. If I was to type everything about my experience it would take me an hour so I will keep it short and say it is assuredly the best place to eat for westerners there is, to know the food is safe and absolutely delicious while also being able to try local flavours. Wayans service was so great, and once I started asking him questions he shared conversation with us with such enthusiasm that I was really just enchanted. I asked about the local wild mushrooms as I am fascinated by the topic and he showes us his almost 100 year old specimen and one he found 5 years ago. I was able to help identify them and gave him a bit of one that I had found earlier in the day that was fresh and medicinal. Everything was 100/100 and the view is beautiful. Below is just some of the food, the talapia with Balinese spices, Chinese omelette and Gado-Gado, all together about $9 AUD. I also really highly recommend the honey he sells, extremely medicinal and extremely yummy.

Got the fried rice which was affordable for Bali and good. Free wifi. It is located on a hill so you get a decent view of the town. English speaking owner. Free parking. Don't think they accept card

The nearly 500 five-star reviews are absolutely well deserved. This is an amazing place and incredible value for money. The portions are huge, and the food is really well made. We had two fried noodle dishes, chicken satay, two teas, and fried banana, and everything was amazing. The staff are also really friendly, and you even get a lovely view of the lake. Can’t recommend this place enough if you’re in the area!

Great warung, fresh food at a great price if you are in the area this is the place you should come. Small family run business and extremely hospitable, true balinese experience.
