Rounded up to 5 stars. Rumah makan Taman Sari is one of the stopping points for tour group on the way to Bedugul, Pura Ulan Danu, or other destinations along the way. This was the first time we came here because we usually tried another F&B. It’s located on the left side of the road if you are on the way to Bedugul from Denpasar. Take note on your arriving time, because if you happen to arrive at the same time with the tour group, it could get crowded. However, I think they had special program or menu dedicated to most of the tour group, buffet style. When we were there, it was empty, but when we left, it was full. There are many sitting areas on different level, although it can get full as well. It’s also suitable for breaks and toilet stop. There is a small balcony for view while the dining area on the first level where we were at was behind glass wall. I didn’t venture to another level because by the time we finished eating, there was a crowd. Since this place is located on higher elevation, the weather is almost always on the pleasant side, cooler than the rest of Bali. The food was decent, although more on the higher side in correlation to the portion and price. To be fair, it’s tourist area and probably harder and more expensive to get their resources. Although on the higher side, it was not ridiculous and justifiable. The tastes were decent as well, and they were kind enough to let us bring our small dog. There are plenty of parking area outside, but again, it depends on whether you cross path with tourist busses or not. I think there is still enough parking space.

Review for Rumah Makan Taman Sari Ngawi On our first day in Bali, my wife and I stopped at Rumah Makan Taman Sari Ngawi for lunch, and it turned out to be a great decision! We tried their nasi goreng and mee goreng, and both dishes were absolutely delicious—packed with authentic flavors and cooked to perfection. The restaurant is well-maintained, offering a clean and pleasant dining environment. There's plenty of parking space available, which is a big plus, especially for a popular spot like this. However, be prepared for a crowd, as it seems to attract a lot of tourists, and there were several buses when we visited. Overall, a fantastic place to enjoy a meal in Bali. Highly recommended for anyone looking for tasty Indonesian food in a well-kept setting!

Ok food, but the one with vegetables was very watery and dirty. Feels like they forgot to wash the vegetables 😥 Portions are big compared to others, Prices are good, hot tea was only 2k each😊 Food came in less then 5 minutes After ordering ⏳ Good view to relax with your dinner⛰️

We stopped by on our way to see some waterfalls and filled up on some good food. We got two nasi goreng meals, a shrimp dish, fried fish, coffee, and soda for around $15! The view was awesome and the air was crisp and cool!

Found fly in the soup. For the prices they are charging, a bit of quality is expected even for a village in Indonesian mountains. This review will not make much of a difference, just to caution the passing tourists. Further, their claim of a free wifi is non existent. The place though is big and empty.
