Yes....it is far, but if you want to visit Jatiluwih, this is a good stop. The water is warm with hotter temp on the pipes. The murky color is sulfur that comes from the hot water. There is also a small waterfall just next to the big pool. If you want a private, twere are some small rooms with also small pool for hot water...it is accesed by car and motorcycle....just make sure you are good with them as the last part of the road is really step .trees and trees all around so you can relax

We went to Air Panas Angseri after a physically demanding day of hiking, and it was exactly what was needed. Nothing luxurious or polished here, but that is precisely its strength. The hot spring is simple and basic, yet genuinely restorative. The water is hot, natural, and effective at relaxing tired muscles. After hours of effort, soaking here felt deeply enjoyable and physically relieving, without distraction or unnecessary staging. Facilities are modest, but functional. This is not a spa; it is a local place designed for use, not spectacle. The surrounding greenery and quiet atmosphere add to the sense of recovery and calm. A very good stop if you value function over form and want an honest, affordable place to recover after hiking or long outdoor activity. Come with realistic expectations and you will leave satisfied.

This is a hidden gem. Not many tourists, in the middle of nature, super warm hot springs, private pools, a waterfall and just an amazing spot to take a hot bath. If your looking for peace and quiet to get zen, this is yout spot.

Loved this place! Pay about $3 USD and you have as much time as you want. Two large communal pools and at least 8 individual rooms, 3 changing rooms, lockers, bathrooms, tables for picnicking, an open cold shower, and a snack bar. We were there late morning and there was hardly anyone there. The furthest open pool is next to a waterfall and really beautiful.

Lovely spot, nestled in a riot of tropical foliage. You can opt for enclosed personal pools, but I'm not sure why you would, as the small public option is beautiful and located next to a small waterfall. We came off-season on a weekend and it never felt overrun; in fact we had the place to ourselves for a while. Nice vibe, nice scenery and we even saw monkeys.
