We found Warung Forest through the reviews and on arrival we honestly weren’t sure what to expect as it’s literally in the middle of nowhere, down a tiny off-the-beaten-track road in Nusa Penida. But from the moment we arrived, we were given such a warm welcome by I Wayan and his wife that we instantly felt at home. The food was freshly cooked, absolutely delicious and made with so much care. It ended up being one of our favourite meals on the island. We were only sorry that we couldn’t stay longer and spend more time chatting with them before rushing off to catch our ferry back to the Bali mainland. If you’re visiting Nusa Penida, this place is truly worth finding.

Small restaurant surrounded by greenery, simple but clean and cosy. We went there twice for lunch. Wayan, smiling and friendly. Good food, you have to wait long enough, but it is justified because all the food is fresh and freshly prepared. I recommend it! Thank you Wayan!

🌿 Hidden Gem with Heart – Warung Forest on Nusa Penida! 🍹🥭 I stumbled upon Warung Forest, just a 2-minute ride off the main road, and I’m so glad I did! It’s easily reachable by scooter, tucked away in a peaceful spot surrounded by greenery, such a relaxing little escape. I ordered the smoothie bowl (55k IDR) and it was delicious, super fruity, fresh, and satisfying. If I had one small wish, it would be for it to be just a bit colder, but honestly, it was still so good and full of flavor. But the real star? The mango juice. Hands down the best mango juice I’ve had anywhere in Indonesia so far, cold, thick, naturally sweet, and super refreshing. I’d come back just for that alone. And to top it all off, the owners are absolutely lovely, so thankful, kind, and heartwarming. You can feel they put real care into everything, from the food to the atmosphere. If you’re exploring Nusa Penida and want a quiet, friendly spot with great vibes and even better juice, Warung Forest is a must-visit!

We have been all over bali and I can confidently say this is the BEST food we have had!! Seriously. Its a little family. Uncle catches fresh fish and octopus daily and that's the daily catch on the menu. We asked for large beers and they didn't have them so they went to go get them for us! Everyone is so kind and I really have nothing negative to say here. Its worth a stop especially if you are going out to Diamond beach. Thanks so much guys🤗
