Incredible and beautiful place to go and visit. Felt so spiritual and calm when walking through. Was welcomed with a cup of water at the top of the stairs, monkeys climbed on the roof, very sweet. Little hole to climb into and a shuffle into the cave as it opens up so you can stand fully once you're inside. Very sweaty so don't be afraid! 😁 Highly recommend. Place at the bottom to hire a Sarong and get any snacks or drinks for afterwards. I was the only tourist visiting 😂 at the time
View on GoogleWe did not know what to expect when our Driver suggested that we stop here for a visit. There are quite a few steps up to the temple entrance, therefore if your knees aren't happy knees, take your time. We paid 100,000 IDR for entry for 2 of us. When trying to find the entrance to the, we laughed! There is a small entrance that you had to crawl through to enter the cave. Once in, we were taken away with the vast hidden special place. It was nice and cool with adequate lighting to show the displays through this wonder. On our exit, we walked along an outdoor path where we saw quite a lot of rubbish, tiny puppies on their own and a few monkeys.
View on GoogleA very well-known temple on Penida featuring an unusual entrance: you have to contort your body to squeeze through a hole into the cave. There isn't much to see inside—it is damp and misty. Reaching the cave entrance involves climbing at least 80 steps up a steep slope. Remember to bring a sarong, as it is mandatory (though rentals are available on-site). In short, unless you are deeply interested in religion, the appeal is very limited
View on GoogleIt’s worth visiting this temple it’s far away in the middle of nowhere but worth it. It’s very unique. They charged us $50 rupiah each to get in but gave us a cup of water each. In my opinion it should have been more taken care of specifically because they charge tourists to get in. There was some garbage inside and on the stairs going up. I loved the floor designs.
View on GooglePretty cool, nice entrance, haven’t seen anything like it. The cave entrance is cool, although it needs a 5 minute hike up some stairs. The temples itself is in the cave completely, and the exit is at the back where the cave opens a up again, went here to do the traditional Balinese ceremony, so got to access some restricted areas, but the public areas were cool too.
