The pool area really stands out here, especially with the sunset views over the water. I ended up spending much longer than planned just taking it all in with a cocktail in hand. The food and drinks were both a nice bonus, and the whole setting felt relaxed and memorable. A lovely spot for an easy evening at Amok Sunset Restaurant & Bar.
View on GoogleAmok Sunset Restaurant & Bar is a fantastic place to enjoy a meal and watch the sunset on Nusa Penida. The views overlooking the ocean are absolutely stunning, especially as the sun goes down, creating a really relaxed and memorable atmosphere. The food was fresh and well presented, with a good variety of options on the menu, and the cocktails were perfect for sunset drinks. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. A great spot for dinner, drinks, and taking in one of the best sunset views on the island.
View on GoogleThe location is absolutely stunning—honestly, I could get married there. The view is incredible, especially at sunset. Getting there isn’t easy, as the road is quite rough, but they offer a free shuttle service which makes it much more convenient. Food-wise, it was a mixed experience. The barramundi was very good, and the calamari rings were on another level—definitely a must-try. The pizza and chicken fingers were okay. However, I wouldn’t recommend the ribeye. It looked nothing like the promotional photo and, despite ordering it medium rare, it came out completely grey and overcooked. It honestly put me off trying other meat dishes. Overall, the price seems to reflect the amazing location, but the food quality, for what you pay, could definitely be a bit better.
View on GoogleA beautiful and atmospheric place that we had planned to visit for a long time. The food was tasty, the views were amazing, and overall we really enjoyed our visit. The place could benefit from a little refresh or some minor renovations to keep it looking its best. The service was friendly, but quite slow—we had to wait a long time for a waiter, and a few times we went to the bar ourselves to get our beer. The only other downside is the road leading to the restaurant, which is in very poor condition and quite difficult to drive on. Overall, it’s still a great place and definitely worth visiting.
View on GoogleA really, really lovely place! A fantastic view from the mountain of the sea and the volcano. An amazing infinity pool! Lunch with five of us was, without a doubt, the best I’ve had in Bali! Guys, don’t even think twice about whether you want to go there – just head straight there. 100 stars from us. The Schröter family and friends.
