I’ve eaten from here a few times and I do enjoy it although it depends a bit which dishes they have that day It’s not the best nasi I have ever had but you can’t complain about 20k for a good meal and smiley face behind the counter
View on GoogleI want to eat authentic local food and I’ve got exactly what I wanted. I came early for fresh dishes at 9.35am and they were the only warung opened at this time along Jungut batu. Humble simple local home cook eatery that serves tasty Nasi Campur. There were about 8 dishes to choose from when I arrived and they were still cooking and preparing inside the kitchen. I had the shredded chicken, small slices of fish, gado gado, tempeh, lots of coconut and sambal for my breakfast! The rice were hot and fresh. Only IDR25,000 but I gave 30,000. 👍🏼
View on GoogleThis is an ‘eat like a local’ warung in Lembongan. Very busy with drop ins ordering bungkus (takeaway). I like seeing that more and more bule are enjoying this Warung but please understand that this place is for and about the local. It’s a place to order great Nasi campur from the window display and what’s on offer at service area, not some meal you expect the family to go off and cook like fried rice etc. I lived on Lembongan for three years and never knew or asked this place for a menu. Go somewhere else if you want that type of service. There isn’t going to be smiles and ‘touristy’ banter. They are wildly successful without you. They work very hard to have an amazingly fresh display. Best to order in Bahasa if you can but they will mostly understand you if you speak simply. Unlike some of the strange 4 star reviews, there is no ‘free’ seconds for food. You eat more, you pay more. Hope this place isn’t destroyed by tourists and their weird ‘treat me like king’ attitudes. It needs to take a back seat here. Some useful words while pointing at the dishes would be ‘ini’ (this), ‘itu’ (that), ‘sayur’ (vegetables), ‘telur’ (egg), ‘pedas’ (spicy) ‘bungkus’ takeaway, ‘sedikit’ (a little), ‘Silakan’ (Please) ‘Terima Kasih’ (Thank you). Nasi campur Soto Ayam Mie Ayam Lalapan Ayam Ayam Betutu I usually get most things added in my Nasi campur meal. Things I wouldn’t normally think I’d ever eat (diced liver) but end up loving it. Eat with your hands. Try and step outside your comfort zone. Get here early. It sells out fast. I would eat here everyday if I could. One of my top 3 local eats in Lembongan.
View on GoogleNice cute local restaurant with low price but big portions of the Nasi Campur. Many locals buy food take away here (good sign ;) . The restaurant is not vegetarian as is said on the description. Our Nasi Campur was delicious and mid spicy
View on GoogleDelicious local food and cheap cheap! I wish I had not been sitting there to watch them serve everyone, because the food really was delicious... I was leaving a 5 star review, But as I was leaving this review, a kid comes and puts his hands in all of the food to make his own plate. When I saw him come out of the back room, he had his fingers in his mouth. Everywhere, why do they need to put hands and fingers in food🤢🦠... And handwashing is not very popular. ... And as I was leaving that last comment, a new woman came and put her hands in all of the food... 🦠🦠🦠 Whyyyyy... ... Lol, and while I was leaving that last comment, the man that served us food first, came back and stuck his hands in all the food... Come on.. 😅🥹🥹🥹 I live in Thailand and worry about servers not washing their hands, but at least they can use spoons and tongs most of the time. Why is everyone coughing or have the sniffles?
