You don't get the chance to explore a mangrove forest every day, and that's exactly what makes this place so special. Beyond its uniqueness, it's an incredibly peaceful experience to drift through the narrow channels surrounded by mangroves. We visited in the morning during high tide, which meant the water level was high and the boat could easily navigate through the forest. We were told that during low tide, the water drops by more than a meter, exposing much more of the mangrove roots. That must be a fascinating sight as well. Take a moment to slow down, listen to the birds, and simply enjoy the tranquility. It's a beautiful escape from the busier tourist spots. We were a group of four, and the entrance fee was 150,000 IDR per person. The boat ride lasts around 20 minutes, and we really enjoyed the experience. If you're visiting Nusa Lembongan, it’s a nice thing to do.
View on GoogleMangrove Point is a lovely experience, offering a peaceful ride through the mangrove forest while getting to see the different species of trees and wildlife that call it home. We spotted lizards and fish along the way, which made the journey even more enjoyable. A relaxing way to explore a different side of the island and appreciate the importance of the mangrove ecosystem.
View on GoogleI visited Mangrove Point with Pak Dharma as my guide, and it turned out to be a deeply serene and memorable experience 🙏🏼 He guided me through the entire mangrove area while sharing the story of the place, its ecosystem, its significance, and how it’s cared for. It never felt rushed. Everything unfolded calmly, at the right pace. He even helped take my photos along the way, which made the experience feel thoughtful and personal. What I loved most was how peaceful the mangrove forest felt. Quiet, grounding, almost meditative. We ended the journey by exiting the mangroves toward the beach, and that transition, from shaded forest to open sea, was genuinely beautiful. If you use a local guide here, don’t forget to tip them. Their knowledge, time, and care make the experience what it is 🙏🏼❤️
View on GoogleCanoeing through the mangrove area was such a peaceful and refreshing experience! The water was calm, making it easy and relaxing to paddle even for beginners. Surrounded by lush green mangrove trees, it felt like escaping into a quiet natural tunnel away from the busy world. The air was fresh, and we could hear birds and the gentle sound of water — so calming. It’s a perfect activity if you love nature, photography, or just want a slow, mindful adventure.
View on GoogleMangrove Point is such a peaceful and quiet place. Canoeing here is incredibly fun and a great way to enjoy nature. Just a quick tip: you need to be a bit careful when the tide is low, as the canoe can get a little stuck in the shallower parts. Overall, highly recommended when you're in Nusa Lembongan!
