The Mangrove Forest tour on Nusa Lembongan was one of the most relaxing activities we did during our stay. 🌿🛶 We visited as two adults and one primary school aged child and decided to rent our own small boat. Before starting, we received a short introduction on how to steer and paddle, which was easy to understand even without any previous experience. Paddling through the narrow waterways surrounded by dense mangrove trees was a completely different experience compared to the busy tourist spots on the island. The water was calm, the atmosphere peaceful, and it felt like exploring a hidden part of Nusa Lembongan. One thing to keep in mind is that larger boats also use some of the channels. When they pass by, small waves can reach your boat. We got a little wet a few times, but that was all part of the fun and actually made the experience even more memorable. 😄 The tour is suitable for families, couples, and anyone looking for a slower pace. We spent around an hour exploring the mangroves and really enjoyed the opportunity to discover the area on our own. If you’re visiting Nusa Lembongan and want to experience something beyond the beaches and viewpoints, the Mangrove Forest is definitely worth adding to your itinerary. 🌴

Wouldn’t say that is the best experience in the world, but worth going half and hour and really disconnect. I went on low tide (not the best) but there was nobody so it was really calm
