Karwans were able to fit us in at late notice for five nights. We managed to get a room that had a private plunge pool which we thoroughly enjoyed. Daily cleaning service. We would have liked a king bed but they only offered Queen beds but that was okay. The bathrooms were clean, towels were clean and smelled great. Wrt the coffee shop, the breakfast menu was great, well priced and service was quick and of course the coffee was fantastic. I would like to do a special mention in regard to the staff who made our stay most pleasant.

Lovely stay here! Comfy bed and quiet but right in the main area to walk everywhere. Super clean and no noise :) would recommend, food is good in the cafe too! Little kitchen is useful for making own drinks and staff have recommendations for things to do or places to visit :)

Perfect space, enclosed but still close to everything, staff were super friendly especially made who couldn't do anymore for us, came back to the cafe several times even after we checked out

We’ve just stayed at Kawans inn for 3 nights after trying their wonderful and cheap breakfast (3x!) and had a great time . If you’re looking for a budget friendly home stay this is perfect for you , the staff were so friendly always greeting you and food and drink is amazing and very cheap , rooms were cleaned every day and great location walking distance to everything . Will definitely recommend and stay here again Only note is there is a strong sewage smell from bathroom when having showers , but for the price of the room doesn’t bother us too much :)

If you want the best gourmet Indonesian food on Jl Jungutbatu, this is the place. The whole menu is amazing, but try the Lumpia (spring rolls) they will blow you away!!! I did not stay here, so I cannot comment on the rooms, but the food is incredible.
