We had an incredible first-time experience at Indiana Kenanga with our two children (ages 4 and 7). We stayed in a Deluxe Room with an extra bed, which was very comfortable for the whole family. The food was outstandin, breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all perfect. Honestly, the restaurant quality is on a level we haven’t found anywhere in Australia. This was also our first time visiting the area, and this hotel completely won us over. Convenient location, supermarkets, chemist, spas, shops everything is walk distance The staff across every department were fantastic, attentive, warm, and genuinely caring. The hotel even arranged courtesy transport to places we wanted to visit and to the port to take the boat which was such a thoughtful touch. Everything was clean, well-organized, and beautifully run. We can’t recommend this hotel enough and will definitely be back, many times over.
View on GoogleWow this accommodation was simply fantastic, location is amazing close to restaurants and bars all within walking distance.Atmosphere in the resort was a good vibe.We stayed in a villa close to the beach end of the complex and it was very spacious with huge ensuite and an outdoor sitting area. This accommodation is not on the cheap end of the scale however we thought it was good value for what you receive .The room was very clean and great feel about it .We had no problem with noise even though we were close to the pool and restaurant. Heading back to the island next year and will be staying there again.
View on GoogleWe spent 3 nights, had two communicating rooms, good looking but a bit used now (e.g. broken tiles, general wear and tear that comes with age). Rooms 15-17 are in the back part of the hotel, about opposite to reception: at this level, motorbikes come and go in the tiny road, so we had some noise late evening and from about 6am, even if rooms face the other side (walls are not thick)… so ask for rooms more in front if possible or facing #13-15-17-19. This is a small downgrade to us, even if we had to wake up early for diving or leaving. Otherwise, hotel was great, it’s not luxury but very nice and welcoming, location is very good, food is very good (we had breakfast and dinner). Sunset drinks really stunning! We enjoyed and rate 4 altogether.
View on GoogleLoved our stay, the perfect island retreat, wish we had more time. We were in a room close to the beach so it worked really well. Overall resort is well maintained, had a good design, I especially loved the smell of the rooms and the towels;) Something’s to watch out for… We used the spa which was fairly expensive compared to the rates outside, but nothing extraordinary… so best to avoid although the ambience inside is great and you pay the price for that… so if you like indulgence go for it. For foot massages outside options can be explored Restaurant food is average but convenient while spending the day at the beach beds. The views are the best especially at sunset but the boats anchored restrict clear view of the landscape… We would come back for sure…
View on GoogleI stayed one night in villa 18 and had to walk down a lane way to the restaurant and main pool, a rather strange set up as the lane was shared with other private villas and even a launderette. Opposite the cluster of villas I occupied was another pool, which was nice and quiet. One thing I have to give credit for was the food. Everything I ordered at dinner and breakfast was delicious and the service was also very good. A band played in the evening at the restaurant, not your typical loud band, so kudos to them . Overall , a beautiful setting and room, which was huge and set in its own garden.
