Kelingking Beach is absolutely breathtaking and easily one of the most stunning places I’ve visited in Bali. The viewpoint alone is worth the trip, with its iconic cliff formation, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and powerful waves crashing onto the white sand below. The scenery is truly postcard-worthy and lives up to all the photos you see online. Getting there, however, is not the easiest experience. The roads leading to the site are quite narrow, uneven, and bumpy, so the drive can be challenging, especially during busy hours when vehicles are passing in both directions. It’s definitely something to keep in mind if you’re not comfortable with rough roads. The beach itself looks incredibly inviting, and you’ll probably be tempted to make your way down. The hike, though, is much more difficult than it appears. The makeshift staircase is very narrow in many sections, and because it’s such a popular destination, there are often long lines of tourists stopping to take photos along the trail. This can make the descent and ascent slower than expected. Going down wasn’t too bad, but climbing back up to the main viewpoint was the real challenge. Some of the steps are unusually high and steep, requiring a lot of effort, especially under the hot sun. It’s definitely a good workout, so be sure to bring plenty of water and wear proper footwear if you plan to hike all the way down. Despite the challenging journey, Kelingking Beach is an unforgettable destination. The incredible views and natural beauty make the effort worthwhile, and it’s a place I’d recommend to anyone visiting Nusa Penida—as long as you’re prepared for the physical hike.

One of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen. Go early in the morning before it gets crowded. It’s perfect for sunbathing and swimming.

beautiful beach that requires ~40 minutes of time to get to from the top. definitely recommended to wear comfortable clothes and shoes as the rocks to climb up and down also get pretty steep.

Kelingking offers a stunning panoramic view from above and a beautiful beach below. Keep in mind that while the descent to the beach is equipped with handrails, it gets steeper towards the end, so proper footwear is highly recommended. Also it's best to arrive early in the morning otherwise you'll likely face crowds on both the way down and back up, which can slow you down.

This is one of the most touristy spots in Nusa Penida. The view of the beach from the top is beautiful. You can also trek to the beach, but it is not an easy trek. There are a lot of shops and restaurants near the top of the beach. The parking for car and bike is also present. Just beware of the monkeys while visiting here.
