Tembling Beach & Forest is one of the most beautiful and peaceful places I visited in Nusa Penida. The drive through the lush forest is an adventure itself, and once you arrive, you'll be rewarded with breathtaking views of crystal-clear water, dramatic cliffs, and an untouched natural beach. The atmosphere is incredibly relaxing, far away from the crowds, making it the perfect place to enjoy nature and take amazing photos. The natural pools near the ocean are also a unique experience. If you enjoy hiking and exploring hidden gems, this place is definitely worth the effort. I highly recommend visiting with a scooter or local driver, and don't forget to wear comfortable shoes. One of the best spots in Nusa Penida for nature lovers. A truly unforgettable experience that deserves 5 stars

Temeling Beach was one of our favorite places on Nusa Penida. 🌴💙 Getting there is already part of the adventure. From the parking area, you follow a path with quite a few stairs and walk down through the jungle. Along the way, you get beautiful views of the coastline and the turquoise ocean. Once you reach the bottom, you’ll find a stunning hidden bay with white sand, dramatic cliffs, and crystal clear water. What we loved most were the natural rock pools formed between the rocks. They are perfect for relaxing, cooling off, and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The atmosphere here felt much calmer than at many of the island’s more famous attractions. Unfortunately, we couldn’t swim in the ocean during our visit because the current was too strong. That’s something visitors should keep in mind, as the waves can be quite powerful. The natural pools, however, offer a great alternative. If you don’t mind a bit of walking and some stairs, Temeling Beach is definitely worth visiting. The combination of jungle, cliffs, natural pools, and the ocean makes this place truly special. 😊🌊🌿

It’s a beautiful place to go to in Nusa Penida. No regrets going to the natural pool. If you’re young and fit enough to climb up and down stairs, you shouldn’t miss this one out because swimming in that natural pool was so relaxing and heavenly. Negotiate for a price to take the motorbike down to the entrance of the pool for 100,000 IDR to and fro. You can choose to walk but it’s about maybe 1.5 to 2 km down. I wouldn’t recommend walking down here if you’re pressed for time because there are no street lights in Nusa Penida. And once you get to the entrance of the pool, there is a 10,000 IDR charge to go down there. We’ll walk down is pretty long. But it would take only 30 minutes to come down. Coming back up would be harder but not something that would be a problem if you’re a frequent hiker or walker.

Absolutely stunning place with fresh water pools and a pristine beach among huge cliffs. Only thing is getting down there if you’re secure on a scooter you can use that to go down but if now you can either walk if you’re reasonably fit and in the mood to walk or take a driver. That will be 200000 IDR however which is a lot for Indonesian drivers in my opinion. So overall, it’s definitely worth a visit but beware if getting scammed. (Also they told us the entry fee is included in the bike ride but that wasn’t the case.)

This is a great spot to visit, especially if you’re looking to cool off. The pool is lovely and refreshingly cold. You do need to take a motorbike taxi down, which was fine, as the road itself is quite steep and a bit scary to drive on your own. There’s still a short walk from where the bike drops you off, but it’s very manageable. It wasn’t crowded when we visited, which made it even more enjoyable, and with trees all around, the area stays nicely shaded and cool. A very relaxing experience overall.
