Such a hidden gem. When we reached, there was no one else around, which made the experience even better—we had the viewpoint and treehouse all to ourselves. There is a very small entrance fee, and the views are absolutely outstanding. In fact, I personally felt it was even better than Diamond Beach. The water looks crystal clear, and from the treehouse you also get a great view of the Kelingking Beach cliffs in the distance. Really glad I chose to visit this spot. There were a few monkeys around, so something to be mindful of. One slightly unsettling thing was noticing feathers along the way, which seemed like part of local offerings, but it can feel a bit unexpected if you are not used to it. Overall, an amazing and peaceful viewpoint—definitely worth visiting if you are in Nusa Penida.
View on GoogleCliff edge is steep! Be careful! Great road leading up to location. 10,000 per person entry or buy food from the local shop. Sit in the tree house and enjoy a coconut!!
View on GoogleReally nice place offering a beautiful view on the sea, with almost no tourist. Parking and access to the site is 10 IDR (“free” if you buy something from the shop).
View on GoogleThe view from the cliff is amazing. There is no crowd. There is a shop which charges 10k for parking (or if you buy anything from the shop, no charge).
View on GoogleBana Cliff Point was a real adventure. We drove up in torrential rain for about 45 minutes, not even sure it would be worth it in that kind of downpour. But when we reached the top, it was incredible, we got this insane cliffside rain display where the droplets looked like they were flowing upward along the cliff, like water floating in space. It was cold, windy, and absolutely soaked, but honestly one of the most interesting experiences I’ve had. I also saw some reviews complaining about a lady charging 10K to access the place, but for the record, we weren’t charged anything. She had a little shed and sold us hot tea, which was exactly what we needed after that drive. We did a photo shoot there too, super dramatic and moody, not your typical “pretty” shots, but really magical in its own way. Her kids were playing in the water as well and they were adorable. Overall, just go, enjoy the place, and don’t get so hung up over tiny amounts of money when the spot itself is that magnificent.
