Mahagiri Panoramic Resort offers one of the most spectacular vantage points in all of Bali. The uninterrupted views of Mount Agung and the surrounding rice terraces are truly exceptional, especially if you catch the sunrise. From an operational standpoint, the team runs a very smooth service. They manage a high volume of guests while maintaining that genuine, attentive Balinese warmth. The buffet offers a wide variety of local and international dishes. Maintaining consistency and quality at scale in a buffet setting is incredibly challenging, but the kitchen handles the turnover well, ensuring dishes are replenished promptly. The rooms are clean, tranquil, and provide a perfect escape from the busier coastal areas. Highly recommended for a serene getaway.
View on GoogleJust an Amazing stay! A week in paradise with a full quality service. The people are lovely and always helpful with the smile. The atmosphere it’s very relaxing. The service is one of the best service I ever had, cleaning of the room, restaurant and breakfast, scooter and taxi service, all the workers are friendly and welcoming, We even learn some basic of Balinese language! Thank you all for your welcoming and thanks to Made Sagiri for his hospitality and kindness.
View on GoogleOur driver dropped us here for lunch on a day tour of Sidemen hills. I wasn’t expecting a self-serve buffet this remote but its was cheap and decent enough. A strange mix of Western and Asian foods. Also, there is nowhere else around to eat as far as I could tell. It was very busy as obviously all the day trippers stop here for lunch. Nice view too.
View on GoogleNever mind I expected such a spectacular view. Cool 25° mornings and evenings with serene views of terraced padi fields with mount Agung backdrop.
View on GoogleMahagiri was an unexpected find. It was our last day in Bali and we told our driver to just drive and take us around scenic places. I find the views in Mahagiri better than Jatiluwih, at least during the time I was there in late June. We already had breakfast so we didn’t order much at the restaurant except for some coconut drinks and a soto ayam. Service was good and the soto ayam delicious. Since it was almost completely empty when we were there around 11am, we had the whole restaurant to ourselves.
