About as basic as it gets. I think it's ok for one night before a early boat. Owner is a good man with barely any English. We showed up at 7pm no booking and found a room for 2 for 200k.

Stayed here only one night before taking the public ferry to Lombok. ||The place is quite small but nice. Staff is friendly and rooms are clean (quite small as well though, and they get extremely hot). Toilet with flushing worked as expected. ||Cheap price and pancake breakfast included. ||All is good, would most probably stay here again if spending the night in Padang Bai.

This ain't no fancy hotel, and it knows it. It's a bed to sleep on and a nice breakfast. The rooms really could use a make over, but they are clean,the beds are big and soft and the room have all basic things. The location is great, near all piers and plenty of restaurants. The banana pancakes are great, one of the best ones in my 2months of travel. The wifi is quite good aswell. If you need a cheap place to crash, Marco Inn is a great option.

Ideal for backpackers. Like many other people we stayed for many more nights than we planned... Very simple accommodation, not new but always clean(daily cleaning). Bucket flushing only... Just cold water...but no one missed the warm one. Noisy cocks between 4 and 8 am and noisy ships but you can get used to and it will be probably the same all around PadangBai. Very friendly owners as well as employed locals. Yoga lessons on the roof terrace. You can choose from pancakes (banana and honey) and toasts with honey for the breakfast, tea or coffee included. They are in touch with good and reliable guides and scooter rentals. Excellent location, close to shops, restaurants, white sand beach and blue lagoon. Bali style...

We arrived in Padangbai quite late after a delayed ferry from Lombok. So glad we found this place - yes, it's basic, but extremely affordable with lovely, helpful staff and a great breakfast! Definitely worth checking out if you're staying for a night or two.
