Swe stayed here prior to our departure to the Gilis, perfect location, walking distance to harbor and lots of restaurants. Behind the hostel is also a small path down to a beach where nobody seems to go to! Welcome was fantastic, breakfast very good, we had a family room (4 people) and I found it a bit too small. But I overall great value for your money. One kid and myself had a stomach bug and the owner of the hostel went out of her way to get us medicine.

We stayed at Bamboo Paradise for 2 nights before heading to the Gilis! The rooms are fantastic and it feels like a proper home away from home! The staff are fantastic and we had a great chat with the very knowledgeable owner. The breakfast is a highlight aswell and is included in the price and making it fantastic value, also surround by adorable cats and dogs, what more could you ask for!

Stayed in private room for 3. Enjoyed 2 nights, nice breakfast. Located close to Padang Bai ferry terminal or traditional market. Balinese authentic, nicely decorated, nice staff, very close to local restaurants or Padang Bai downtown. Hostel has connection to private driver if needed and motorcycle rent is just near by. Very small beach just short walk 🚶‍♂️ to hill side behind the hostel and famous blue lagoon 45 min 🚶

Asia at Bamboo runs the place. She is articulate, caring and very knowledgeable about travelling/backpacking this area of the world. She’s enthusiastic and happy to share knowledge. The staff in general is very friendly, helpful and speak English well. Breakfast is amazing as is the location. I would stay here again. It’s also close to a lovely beach.

Decent place to stay with really friendly staff. It’s not super luxury and cleanliness could be improved but to be honest if you’re just looking to stay one night before getting the boat to Gilis it does the job for a cheap price.
