We visited Lotus Seaview Restaurant for the first time today and would happily come back. The atmosphere is beautifully designed, especially in the evening with the warm lighting and the lovely garden setting. The drinks and desserts were also very tasty and presented nicely. We were particularly looking forward to the wood fired pizza. The flavor was good, but in our opinion it could have stayed in the oven a little longer. The topping was still quite pale and the typical wood fired character did not fully come through. However, this is more a small suggestion than actual criticism. The service was friendly and attentive. Overall, we had a very pleasant evening in a beautiful setting.
View on GoogleWe had a delightful meal with great service. It was disappointing to see the impact of the waterfront walkway on the view but the restaurant has made the most of it by creating a lovely outdoor seating area. The food was delicious but quite spicy. There was chilli in everything even the salad. We asked for a milkshake to soothe our burning mouth and it was the best chocolate milkshake I have ever had.
View on GoogleGreat beach views and excellent variety of food from Pasta, Pizza to traditional Balinese. We loved the traditional Balinese steamed Banana rolled in rice crepes filled with palm sugar and coconut, it was so yummy we ordered it twice.
View on GoogleAfter experiencing some disappointing food at a high price in our hotel we decided to try this restaurant. When we arrived the place was empty which would usually make me very nervous, however we decided to just try our luck. The staff were very nice and the restaurant is actually really nice too with a great decor and a clean environment. The staff were helpful with pointing out some of their popular meals and it was hard to decide what to have. So we tried the appetizers: lumpia (spring rolls) and baby octopus. Mains: bebek betutu and Rijstaffel Dessert: Dadar gulung pisang Beverages: Bintang bir, orange squash (no sugar), Mixed juice (again no sugar) and ginger tea. All of the food was delicious and had been a much better meal than at our resort. The appetizers were really good but the best was the baby occy for sure. The lumpia were delicious however I didn't quite understand the accompanying sauce. I usually have lumpia with a chilli sauce or a sweet and sour, this was like a sweet tomato sauce and it was a bit weird. The rijstaffel was excellent with a great mix of Indonesian food, it's like a tasting plate if you will. The bebek betutu was well enjoyed by my partner and it was a good sized duck, nothing like the undersized, sickly looking bird that we tried in Ubud. It was a smoky flavour too, to notch. I love a good dadar gulung and find it hard not to have it wherever I go. I haven't tried it with banana so it was doing to be interesting. It was a good flavour but I'll stick to the regular Dadar gulung without the banana. If I'm ever back in Candidasa I now know a great restaurant to go to for excellent food and great staff
View on GoogleBeautiful little beach restaurant. Very respectful and helpful staff. Food is always incredible. I have an egg allergy and they accommodated very well. Must go if you're in the area
