Warm, home-cooked meals with truly Balinese flavors that you keep on repeating like your mom’s own cooking- this was Warung Sari Asih. This was my dinner spot for the 95% of my time in Amed (the other 5% I tried somewhere but ended up coming back to Sari Asih- if I’m going to be honest). Menu highlights include grilled fish (check what’s fresh caught of the day- they will happily show you), ofc the various satays beaming with flavor and the underrated Ayam Bakar. Btw- savor the umami of the onion sambal- sublime. Ambiance is topnotch- mix of locals and tourists that just wants good food. There’s no pretension here- you sit communal, street dogs may wander in, you may meet a friend but what you’ll sure get is a full stomach. Thank you for feeding me here in Amed and all the best!

This is a great place to eat at if you’re not fussy about your environment and enjoy eating at hyper local joints. The prices are super cheap so we ended up over eating every time we went there and in turn spending more than we usually did haha :D but it’s so worth it! The Ayam bakar (grilled chicken), pepes ikan, ikan sate, udang bakar (grilled prawns), gado gado they are all so good. Pork sate is full of fat. The menu is also a lot of fun to read with all its sarcastic comments :D

Hands down one of the best satay spots! You can really taste the freshness and quality in both the fish and pork satay. Tender, perfectly grilled, and cooked to perfection. The chili sauce was incredible and added just the right kick. The price is also very cheap.

We came here for lunch after seeing the excellent Google Maps reviews, and they were absolutely spot on. The food was incredible—especially the babi asam manis and the sate, which were both delicious and full of flavor. The prices were surprisingly affordable, even compared to other local warungs in the area, making it great value for money.

Little language barrier. First u don't know how to order. But when the food arrives everything was worth it. The most authentic food we had in Bali. Prices are much too cheap! We came here 2 nights in a row and I expect to go there another time in our only 4 nights stay in Amed.
