The place is simply lovely. Dining by the sea with the sound of the waves is priceless. It’s a bit tucked away, but it’s well worth going down the stairs because the place is divine. We received a warm welcome and were really impressed by the quality of the food. Everything was homemade and well cooked. We ordered fried squid and spring rolls. The squid was cooked to perfection and came with chips, which I was surprised to find were homemade. The spring rolls were also homemade from start to finish, right down to the wrappers and the accompanying sauce, which I really enjoyed. For our main course, we ordered Pepes Ikan, which you don’t find everywhere. I was going to order Mahi Mahi but they didn’t have any – a sign that the fish is fresh and they rotate their stock – so I opted for the grilled squid instead. It was cooked to perfection and not overcooked, as is often the case; the rice was cooked just right and the vegetables were crisp and fresh. Both sambals were perfect! In our five days in Amed, I can say that this was without a doubt our favourite dinner.
View on GoogleDining at Warung Asri Amed was one of the highlights of my trip. The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was fresh, full of flavor, and prepared with great attention to quality. From the first bite to the last, everything exceeded expectations. The location is equally impressive, offering a beautiful and relaxing setting that makes the whole dining experience even more memorable. Enjoying such amazing food with the surrounding atmosphere creates a perfect combination. What truly stands out is the service. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly, making us feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout the visit. I highly recommend Warung Asri Amed to anyone visiting Amed. Excellent food, wonderful location, and outstanding service — definitely a place worth returning to.
View on GoogleWonderful spot! The best (quality and value) grilled prawns I’ve had in Indonesia so far. A lovely view, relaxing atmosphere and beautiful food. The vegetable urab were brilliant too! Would absolutely recommend.
View on GoogleEasily my most favourite warung in the whole of Bali! Location, view and atmosphere is outstanding. Love their Sambal Matah on squid, fish, chicken and whatever else. Even the accompanying vegies are delicious every time. Service and Staff always friendly. Have been counting down the days until I can get back there only 4 to go!
