Kopi di Tymor is honestly one of those little coffee spots in Amed that you’ll be happy you found. The place isn’t too small but also not overly big, so it has this nice, cozy feeling without making you feel cramped. I really liked how relaxed the atmosphere was, and everyone there was super nice and friendly. You can tell they genuinely care about making people feel welcome. I also came across other reviews mentioning the chill atmosphere and good coffee, so it seems like I’m definitely not the only one who enjoyed the experience. And the coffee? Excellent. Definitely the kind of coffee that makes you want to sit around a little longer and enjoy the morning. But my personal highlight was the pain au chocolat. Seriously, that thing was a joy to my mouth 😂. Crispy, buttery, chocolatey, and just the perfect companion for a good cup of coffee. They’re also known for their pastries and light bites, which makes the place a pretty solid option if you’re looking for a simple coffee-and-pastry breakfast while exploring Amed. Overall, Kopi di Tymor has that easygoing Amed vibe that I really love. Nothing feels too fancy or pretentious—it’s just a comfortable little spot with great coffee, tasty pastries, and genuinely friendly people. If you’re around Amed and love coffee, I’d definitely put this place on your list. A must-go spot for coffee lovers in Amed!
View on GoogleA truly delightful and relaxed coffee experience at Kopi di Timor in Amed. I came here on the recommendation of a friend who told me the coffee and the service were exquisite, and it absolutely lived up to that expectation. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt calm, peaceful, and very welcoming — the kind of place where you can genuinely slow down and enjoy the moment. We ordered what they call a “Black,” essentially a long Americano, and the flavor was spectacular. Rich, smooth, and well-balanced, without any bitterness — clearly a high-quality coffee prepared with care and attention. You can tell they respect the product and the process. The overall ambiance is very relaxed, making it a perfect spot to sit, think, work, or simply enjoy a great cup of coffee in Amed. The service is warm and attentive, contributing to a very pleasant and authentic café experience. If you appreciate excellent coffee, a laid-back atmosphere, and genuine hospitality, Kopi di Timor is definitely a place worth visiting in Amed. Highly recommended.

View on Googlemy favorite cafe when i stayed in amed, I love the aesthetic of this place. Its beautifully designed and perfect for taking photos or just enjoying some quiet time. i had the best breakfast with truffle scrambled. The truffle scrambled are absolutely delicious. The truffle flavor is rich but not overpowering, and the texture is perfectly creamy.
View on GoogleOur favorite cafe during our stay in Amed! truly the kind of place you wish you had found from day one. We only discovered it on our 3rd day out of 5, and once we tried it, we kept returning without hesitation. The food is outstanding. The omelette is one of the best we’ve had in Amed: generously filled, flavorful, and cooked just right. The avo smashed is fresh, bright, and comforting in that simple but perfect way. You can tell they care about using good ingredients. Their smoothies are also incredible and absolutely worth trying! Mango Magic, Tropical Refresher, and Berry Good all became instant favorites for us refreshing, vibrant, and exactly what you need in Amed’s heat. The staff are incredibly friendly and genuinely kind, creating a warm atmosphere that makes you want to linger a bit longer. The cafe itself feels cool and relaxing, a lovely escape from the midday sun. And it’s pet friendly, which is always a huge plus for us. Highly recommended don’t skip this cafe when you’re in Amed. It’s the kind of spot that quietly becomes a highlight of your trip.
