We came to have some fun snorkeling around Japanese shipwreck but it was raining and we waited here and had tea and coffee at this place. Service was very nice and helpful so we decided to come back for lunch after snorkeling... and we did not regret. Prawn & mushroom soup was really flavorful! Flavour was umami and not fishy with right zest. Prawn dumplings: big and juicy, with perfect dip sauce. Taco - they had no issues in making a change from prawns to calamari and tacos tasted very good (rated by Mexican)
View on GoogleWhat an amazing place! Dinner right at the beach, sound of the waves, amazing food, friendly service what else is there to ask for? Food is seriously good quality and worth the price! I highly recommend the ribs, oh my they were tender and absolutely delicious. We also chose the surprise dessert because we could not make up our mind and it was very tasty. The manager was super kind, open and friendly. He picked us up at our villa and drove us to the restaurant. Also great service from the staff at the restaurant.
View on GoogleExcellent food, quiet ambience listening to waves lap on the shore (no loud music, like others mentioned). Mango fish tacos were very good but star appetiser was crispy cumi-cumi pancakes with squid - beautiful. Fish satay main very enjoyable and my son loved pork ribs. Prices very reasonable for gourmet quality. We had an issue paying with credit card, despite sign at the front clearly showing accepted. But it turns out the whole Amed region had same problem. They kindly allowed us to pay at our hotel 4km away (our hotel also has the credit card problem).
View on GoogleExcellent food and service. Miss Ani and Ayu were attentive. Try fish cake and Tom Kha Ga soup. Highly recommended ! *** Edited after my 5th visit. The Boatshed restaurant is clearly able to maintain their standard.
View on GoogleStumbled upon The Boatshed after snorkling at the Japanese Shipwreck, and I’m very glad we did! All of the food was absolutely delicious, and the location was stunning! I would definitely recommend to anyone who is in the area😊
