I visited Lahangan Sweet as a couple during our Bali trip, and the experience was absolutely amazing. The place is famous for its breathtaking viewpoint of Mount Agung, and the scenery was truly beautiful. The peaceful atmosphere, mountain backdrop, and greenery all around make it a perfect spot for photography and relaxation. The journey to reach the top was a bit adventurous because the roads are steep in some sections, but the stunning view at the destination makes the effort completely worth it. There are also several photo spots available where visitors can capture memorable pictures with the mountain view. The ambience of the place was calm and refreshing, making it a great place to spend quality time with family or as a couple. Early morning or sunset time would be ideal for the best experience and clear views. Overall, Lahangan Sweet is a must-visit destination in Bali for nature lovers and photography enthusiasts. The scenic beauty and mountain views create an unforgettable experience.
View on GoogleBy reading some of the reviews, I was expecting this place to be a tourist trap, but decided to come nonetheless. While it is touristic, it's definitely turned out to be worth the visit. The views are absolutely breathtaking, and I actually enjoyed the ocean view more than Agung mountain. You can see Agung mountain from a whole lot of viewpoints in the area, but you don't usually get to see the ocean and the coast so well from above. The territory is well maintained. There are plenty of spots for a photo or just to sit and enjoy the view. It is quite easy to get there by scooter. You can drive up to the entrance from which you can walk. The road is well maintained, and you don't need to take any rickety vehicles up as some earlier comments indicated, seems like they paved the path since. The entry ticket includes photo at "Temu" Heaven's Gate temple thing as well, which looks quite nice and no crazy wait time. If you are staying in Amed, you can do a nice trip by going there via the back road up into the hills and then going back via the main road back to Amed. You make a loop instead of going the same route.
View on GoogleAn amazing place with breathtaking views! There are plenty of unique photo spots, making it perfect for taking pictures. The weather is cool and refreshing, and the mountain scenery is absolutely stunning. A peaceful place to relax, enjoy nature, and watch a beautiful sunset. Highly recommended if you’re looking for incredible views and unforgettable photo opportunities.
View on GoogleLahangan Sweet is absolutely worth the early wake-up. My biggest tip: come at sunrise or no later than 8–9 AM. This is when the views are at their best—the sky is usually clear, Mount Agung isn’t hidden by clouds yet, the light is soft, there are fewer people, and your photos will look incredible. Also, if you’re riding there, rent an NMAX. I really don’t recommend going on a Scoopy. The roads are steep and winding, and an NMAX feels much safer and more comfortable for the ride. Later in the morning, clouds often cover the mountain, it gets much hotter, and the whole atmosphere feels different.
View on GoogleEntry fee is 100K per person. From the parking you can take the buggy up to the main area. There are 7 spots to click pictures. 1. The gate (with My Agung in background) 2. Single tree 3. Double tree 4. Edge view with Mt Agung 5. Edge view with the ocean 6. Heart shape 7. Boat For the first two there are folks there who help click the pictures Visibility of Agung depends on the clouds. I think sunrise here will be very pretty. Less crowded and good view of the ocean too.
