We had lunch at Green Melon Warung and left with a very positive impression. There is convenient parking right in front, and if you choose a table on the balcony, you can enjoy beautiful ocean views while eating. The prices are very reasonable, and while I wouldn't call it the best restaurant in Bali, I can confidently say it's one of the better places we tried in Amed. The atmosphere is relaxed and enjoyable, making it a great spot to spend some time. One suggestion for improvement would be to find a different coconut supplier, as the coconut we received was not the best. Also, there is no air conditioning, but there are several fans that keep the space comfortable enough even during the warmer hours. Overall, we had a great experience and would happily come back.

Service was a bit slow (the staff were quick and attentive, but it seemed like there was probably just one chef working really hard in the back, so when it got busy, food took a little longer to come out). Still, it was a really nice and welcoming place overall. The Wi-Fi worked smoothly too. The food was made less spicy, probably to suit tourists, but each dish felt carefully prepared and freshly made—everything was delicious. Papaya juice 20,000 ×2 Cola 13,000 Mie goreng chicken 40,000 Nasi campur 75,000 (came with sate lilit (fish meatballs), meat, tofu, curry, veggies, sambal, boiled egg, and rice—everything was tasty) Seafood combination 105,000 (included fish, shrimp, squid satay, etc.) 273,000 rupiah in total. The fruit juices and local dishes are affordable and really good, so if you’re craving local food, I’d definitely recommend this place. Dishes like nasi campur and the seafood combo are a bit pricier, but that’s because they’re clearly made with care, offer a great variety, and taste fantastic (just on the milder side in terms of spice).

A showcase for Balinese service and food. We were in a villa close by and visited Green Melon many times. It was always perfect. Furthermore i arranged a fishing trip there with my son which was an unforgettable experience. They organised the transportation to the captain (3:30 am) and made sure we had life vests. We catched many Mahi Mahi's and to top it off our fresh fish was prepared the same night in 2 different dishes (grilled and pepes ikan). I would definitely recommend this place to anyone staying close by or driving by.

One of the best places to eat in Amed if you are looking for fresh, honest, homemade food. I ordered the seafood curry and it was outstanding. Fresh fish and seafood, perfectly cooked vegetables, and a beautiful balance of spices—full of flavor without being too spicy. You can really taste the freshness and the care in the cooking. The rice was perfectly cooked, and the ginger tea with lemongrass and honey was incredible—fragrant, soothing, and clearly made with fresh ingredients. The coconut water comes directly from the trees in the backyard. The owner literally cuts the coconuts from his own garden, so it doesn’t get fresher than that. This is a true family-run restaurant in Amed. The food is cooked by the owner’s wife and mother, and you can feel the authenticity in every dish. The owner is warm, welcoming, and clearly a hardworking and honest man who cares deeply about the quality of his food and the experience of his guests. The restaurant itself is also full of beautiful artwork and inspiring quotes, creating a relaxed and positive atmosphere. If you want fresh seafood, local Balinese cooking, and a genuine family restaurant experience in Amed, this place is a gem. Highly recommended.
