Every plate feels thoughtfully prepared, both in taste and visual presentation. We ordered a traditional tuna dish and a traditional chicken dish, and both were outstanding — full of flavor, well-seasoned, and clearly made with fresh ingredients and respect for Balinese culinary heritage. As a lovely gesture, we were also welcomed with a traditional drink, which immediately set a warm and genuine tone for the entire experience. The variety on the menu is excellent, offering a great selection of authentic local options, and the overall quality of the food is remarkably high. Even more impressive is that the price is far below the level of quality they deliver, making it an exceptional value. A special mention goes to MikoM, the waiter who attended us, whose kindness, warmth, and professionalism truly elevated the experience. The staff in general are attentive, caring, and genuinely welcoming, making you feel comfortable from the first moment. The setting is another highlight — a spectacular lush garden with a jungle-like atmosphere that makes the meal even more enjoyable and immersive. Galanda is not just a place to eat; it is a place to experience authentic Balinese cuisine, heartfelt hospitality, and a beautiful environment all in one. Highly recommended when visiting Amed.

Beautiful place! I definitely recommend eating in the garden, it has such a nice atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. I really enjoyed my experience and would happily come back!

I'm so sad we found this on our last day in Amed, as the food was exceptional!!! Delicious food, with lots of different options. Beautiful surroundings aswell with gorgeous private outdoor cabanas aswell as lovely indoor seating. Nice and clean. Our meals were definitely ones we will be remembering as they were exceptionally tasty and full of flavour! And such an amazing price aswell. 110% recommend!!

We absolutely loved our experience at Galangan Restaurant in Amed! Welcome drink the turmeric shot and peyek…. Love it. If you’re looking for authentic Balinese flavors, this is the place to go. The menu is full of delicious dishes that will satisfy your palate, and everything we tried was fresh and full of flavor. The staff were always friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The ambiance is peaceful, lush, and beautifully green. One of the best Indonesian dishes I've had so far. I had the belayag chicken. When you get here they give a shot of something very exotic and good and a cracker. The place is like an Asian jungle. Definitely coming back.
