Nice thing to see if you are nearby but dont come specifically to see it. Ride here in afternoon with scooter was crazy. Seen 2 dog fights and got chased by other 3 individual stray dogs…

We were in the area and were advised to take a small detour and visit. It’s nice and quiet and you get a great view out to the sea as you get up quite high. The tree itself was nothing spectacular but we enjoyed the experience all the same

Probably the best tree in Bali. And yes I've visited the majestic Kayu Putih, but there is something so charming and spiritually serene about Bunut Bolong, it has an entish quality reminiscent of Tolkien's world. We drove 2+ hours from Ubud just to see this tree and it was worth it! The winding village road up to BunBol is gorgeous. And we paired the visit with a massage at Magic Hands Massage on Medewi Beach, followed by lunch at Rasta Café. All the local highlights in one day! 😎

It’s a beautiful old tree that’s naturally carved out large enough for cars to drive through.

Good for a short trip, doesn't have any more attraction than a hole in an old tree. Anyway the place is well managed have a decent service and a traditional store. Access to this place is isolated far from the city but if you like cardio like cycling and running the route offers a terrific view. So drop by of you have a chance via pahyangan.
